I don’t usually like to complain. I’d rather write reviews to applaud amazing food and businesses. But… Ordered a Greek salad, add chicken. First of all, came to over $15. For a “fast food” joint this was appalling as I get fresh made (better quality) salads in sit down restaurants for cheaper. The quality…. Not good! Not fresh ingredients. The chicken was a tiny dried out/overcooked/you could see the hardened outer dryness of this piece of chicken… at an additional $4 to the salad cost. I asked the person if it was fresh and they said yes. I walked away and tasted the chicken only to reaffirm what I could see, which is that it was chokingly dry. I returned and explained this to the person working who immediately became defensive and insisted it was fresh, not dry, and that there is nothing wrong with it. I reiterated just how dry and overcooked it is. They eventually offered to replace it, though they replaced it with another dry/overcooked piece of chicken. It was only slightly less dry because I told them not to throw it on the grill to heat which would’ve cooked it even more. Pretty awful quality, value/price, and costumer service.

The Pita Factories (all locations collectively) are a gift to the region. I remember my first time — it was a newly-opened Pita Factory on Northfield Dr, and my colleagues were taking me there at my first full-time job. Beautiful pitas stuffed full of fresh lettuce and chicken (sometimes two chickens!), poutines overflowing with gravy… at least once a week for over a year I went there. Then I moved jobs; Pita Factory was further away but I kept coming (though less so). Then the pandemic hit, and I kept coming still (for takeout, this time). Now my workplace offers lunch, so I don’t have the privilege of stuffing myself with my usual chicken ceaser. But that’s what weekends are for. When I’m out of the region, I WISH I could go to Pita Factory. Whether you’re sad and alone or have a date night, it’s a perfect match. Everyone loves a pita. I’ve travelled the world yet no place tickles the pita itch like the Pita Factory.

Their chicken was cold in the sandwich. The sandwich was literally cold even though I asked for it to be toasted. Definitely do not recommend their chicken shawarma. Considering the price as well, this was a big disappointment. If visiting, get something else, don’t get a shawarma, there was no garlic sauce for the shawarma as an option.

I generally don't give any reviews but I think these people need a tight slap on their face because of their behavior. I wish that I could give 0 star to these people. They are horrible. While I was ordering the pita, there was one girl on training and she was doing good asking me about the toppings with smile, even I complimented her that i like that happy face but the owners were continuously poking her in some other language by murmuring. I felt she was quite afraid and helpless but she kept on smiling. After taking the pita, I just sat there and I saw that girl talking to the man saying something and looking at the clock, but that man was shouting at her. Then I saw her sweeping and mopping the store at 7 pm so I asked them that they are closing or what. So the man said no we close at 10 pm.I was shocked that how they treat their employees. Then I saw that girl running inside and outside doing all the work and the couple(Owners) were sitting doing nothing. I talk to one of the employee to outside the store and she was telling me about the owner and his wife are making their life hell while training by paying nothing during initial training and even extend the training to 1 month or even more and they are more interested in their personal life as they went to the other store where their ex-employee(who left because of her health problems) was working and told that owner that the girl is not good and they should fire her. She also told me that the man is treating everybody rudely and he thinks he can treat anybody by the way he likes.I think these people are good for nothing because they are taking advantage of students who really need money. I dont want to say anything about the food but these guys need to remove the negative atmosphere from the store and should treat their employees...

Very disappointed with the cleanliness. I ordered a Gyro pita and paid by debit, the lady behind me paid with cash. The girl working had on gloves. She proceeded to take the cash with the gloves on and give the lady change and then made my pita without changing her gloves. She was busy as there was a line and appeared to be working alone and looked very overwhelmed so I chose not to say anything in front of a line up of people. Using gloves to handle food are actually more dangerous than not using them - if not used properly. I don't think this young lady understood the concept of why she was wearing gloves, and I hope from my review there will be better employee training moving forward. I decided to not eat my pita that I paid for as it was my choice not to say anything which I should have. I love the food at this place, but unless I get some form or response that this issue will be addressed I will sadly not...
