Update: I followed up via email as requested, but I haven’t received any response. It’s beginning to seem like the emphasis on customer feedback might be more for show than genuine concern.
Original Review : Absolutely Disgusting and Disappointing — Avoid at All Costs
My friend and I ordered two grilled chicken burger combos. At first, the food tasted fine, even good. But a few bites in, I noticed a strange smell coming from my burger. I tried sniffing each part, the bun, the pickles, the chicken, but couldn’t pinpoint it. I had to stop eating because I felt like I was going to throw up. I didn’t say anything to my friend because I didn’t want to ruin her appetite. But as soon as she saw me drop that burger, she said, “It stinks, doesn’t it?” That’s when we realized both our burgers were bad. We stopped eating immediately.
I went to the counter and let them know. All I got was a flat “Sorry.” No explanation, no concern, no offer to refund or replace the food — nothing. My friend went up separately to talk to someone else and got the same response: “Sorry.” That was it. No investigation, no concern, no offer to replace the food, no refund, just a flat, uninterested apology. To make matters worse, we both ended up sick later that evening. Clearly, something in those burgers was spoiled.
This place does not care about customer safety, let alone satisfaction. And that’s horrifying when you consider they’re handling food that people are putting into their bodies. A mistake is one thing — but refusing to take accountability, investigate, or even offer basic compensation is a whole different level of negligence. Do yourself a favor and do not eat here. Read moreHorrible experience. I came on a Sunday to order food and they said they close the store at 8:00pm. I entered the store at 7:50pm and waited at the front for someone to take my order. The lady worker came at 7:52pm making me wait 2 minutes to tell me that she is closed and will not take my order. This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable. If the store is closed and not taking orders you should close the store and not allow customers to enter the store. The lady did not want to make my order simply because she was lazy and probably wanted to leave early and finish work. Another customer even waited in line behind me to have the same thing. I work at food places and if a store is closed and not taking orders, the door should be closed. The lady said the last call for taking any food orders was at 7:45pm but the store closes at 8:00pm. Never again will I be coming a location that does not want to do their job. Work the hours and if you want to close early than lock your store door. They made up a lie just because she did not want to waste time making food which is her whole job and within store opening hours. Read moreTalk about going from good to bad to worse. This place used to be amazing when it opened at Sunrise Plaza. It seems they have implemented lots of change in the past year or so and the quality of food and service continues to decline. Especially the customer service.
The menu has also changed and it's really no better than what it was. The Hawaiian burger is no longer available here. This was my family's go to burger. Today, the bread tasted stale and the fries tasted like the oil had not been changed in a while. The meat tasted like it was frozen, not cooked fresh ... a little chewy - not what it used to be.
The customer service is terrible at this location. It's like having a customer is such an inconvenience. Most of the employees I've had interaction with, have been rude, unhelpful and just simply lack customer service skills or plain manners. A little training will go a long way!
