Pizza Prosciutto — Restaurant in Kitchener

I cant say enough about this spot. Ive never ate in, so I cant rate it on atmosphere but man, their specialty pizzas are amazing, the various topping selections they offer is really good. But, even better, in my opinion, are their roasted chicken wings. By far the best chicken wings of any pizza spot, probably better than some wing places too. The wings you get are jumbo sized, meaty, well seasoned, and great tasting overall. Theyre so good that when we wanted to order food yesterday for the nba all star weekend, we had coupons for dominoes and we ordered some pizzas from there but got 3 lbs of wings from prosciutto over wild wing. We ordered them at 8:45PM, the lady taking the order offered to stay 10 minutes later past closing just to get us our order, not knowing it closed at 9, which we told her its ok, we'll make it on time for pick up. Thank you for the great service, you guys really care about the quality of the food you put out. I wish they had a couple more sauce options for their wings since theyre so good, ide love to try a couple more...

Just ordered from here tonight, and got a super deluxe and a customized pizza (bacon ham and extra cheese, pepperoni on one half, double mushroom on the opposite).

Once it arrived we noticed there was no mushroom, checked under the cheese and nothing. When we called to let them know of their error, they argued with us, to check under more slices (shouldn't need to search for double of an ingredient) and then the woman on the phone lied to us, saying she watched the kitchen make my order and put mushrooms on it.

Wanted us to send a photo of the pizza to prove ourselves, and said they would call us back. Eventually, they did admit they messed up, and will send us a new one. I shouldn't have to fight with you, have your staff lying to me that they watched it, and that I must be the liar about the pizza being wrong.

This would not have been such a big deal to me if they hadn't started to fight us over such a small thing and insinuate we were lying.

I regret insisting we order from them tonight, and will not bother again...

The Good: Fantastic Pizza and Wings. Love this place - been coming for years. Best quality I've found in the city to date. Made fresh every time.

The Bad: You're going to have to pay a bit more money for this quality. But like anything, you get what you pay for.... if you want cheaper, cardboard-like pizza, stick with the large chains.

The Ugly: I can see where some reviewers have an issue with the owner's customer service. He certainly does come across as grumpy and hard to understand. He's a 'let's get down to business' type of guy. The rest of the staff/family seem genuinely friendly, kind and helpful.

The Verdict: 5 stars. The quality and flavors are so far above the competition that I don't mind paying a few bucks more or having to potentially deal with a grumpy owner from time to time. And I respect the fact they shut down for 2-3 weeks each year for family vacation. Check this place out... you won't be...
