Planet Pizza — Restaurant in Kitchener

THIS IS NOT PIZZA PLANET! They just haven't bothered to update anything, we just wasted money on something I couldn't eat and I am not picky. Firstly The person taking the order was hard to understand and the whole order process took way longer than it should have for a Canadian and Hawaiian and large wedges... Pizza is generic and the hawaiian tasted off, tried it with the pineapple on and then just a piece of pineapple and it tasted like a old boot or worse, then I tried without the pineapple it was gooey and weird... Just like the rest of it that I couldnt even eat it....The wedges look like they were fried for the half an hour we waited for the order. They also looked like it was cooked in a oil that's never been changed, you know that dark colour with no potato inside and then salted to death..also supposed to be a large not a small in a large box and I'm definitely not eating this heart attack. hahah I'm sad because we love pizza and wedges so it was a huge disappointment. This is my first and last time eating at this restaurant. I got pizza (with two cheeses, broccoli and roasted red pepper, mind you I didn't mean to add the cheddar cheese), chicken wings and cheesy sticks.

The pizza was bad! The cheddar cheese was not a good choice (my fault), the crust was dry and while it wasn't burnt, it tasted burnt and the concept of having the cheese on top was bad. I hate cheese on top, I find it smothers the rest of the pizza and changes the texture, making it look, taste and feel undercooked, I have an issue with this texture. Bad pizza but was still edible.

The chicken was good but the sauce tasted bland and boring, almost like a weird bottled sauce. I didn't hate it but it wasn't great, though nicer chicken than most other pizza places.

Lastly the cheesy sticks, I think it's just pizza crust, so again it was dry and tasted almost burnt. The cheese on top was nice but a bite or two was funky but not in a good way. I didn't think it was that bad but I...

I wasn't aware that the old owners were no longer with us at this location so I was craving this pizza because I used to get it all the time from the old couple and it was made always so good it was probably one of the only few locations in Kitchener Waterloo that puts the pineapple underneath all the toppings.. that maybe weird but where I'm from we had all of our pizzas made with the pepperoni on top of the pizza sauce and then the cheese over top of the pepperoni and that's how I like it and they made it like that all the time but I tried it tonight the pizza was still good however pepperoni was on top of the cheese and once it got a little cold it became hard?? Would I go back again? It's cheap pizza for sure if I was really in a hurry/ didn't care for any type of pizza I would. Definitely give the new...
