This place is good but very inconsistent with the amount of food given. I came here last week, and had the chickpea curry roti and it was the best in Kitchener. The curry was perfect, the roti was perfect and there was so much food I couldn't finish it in one sitting.
Went there this Easter weekend with my Nana boasting about how good it was only for us to both be disappointed.
The roti was so thick, dry and chewy. The curry had no spice to it. They didn't wrap it correctly and there was very little chickpea curry. Then the person, packed my order upside-down and side ways in a bag. It was a mess and definitely not worthy of its title for "Best In Kitchener "
Sorry, guess this is a definite hit or miss when ordering. I prefer a bit more consistency when it comes to serving sizes, and flavor of food. Hope to see them improve the next time...
Read moreFantastic experience here the two times I visited. My partner and I came to the Kitchener Market for the first time this year (we're out of Guelph) and we came across this location in search of Jamaican patties! (I'm Jamaican :D). The patties were awesome and tasted very fresh. The staff are very professional and pleasant.
As a fellow Jamaican I've had to deal with poor service from other Jamaicans because, quite frankly, customer service sometimes is not a Jamaican's very best strength. I've often realized there's room for improvement there. BUT these guys have figured out good customer service, they are pleasant, and friendly. My partner and I have now become a repeat customers!
Check them out next time you go to the Kitchener Market (by the way the Kitchener Market is awesome...
Read moreGreat quality food at a great price, quick, and convenient! I stopped into the International Food Court at the Kitchener Market and had the pleasure of eating lunch at the Caribbean Kitchen Ltd. It was amazing! I had the jerk chicken roti and it was the perfect blend of spicy/sweet and jam packed with chicken and vegetables. It was very filling and served within minutes. The staff are also lovely people willing to take a few minutes to explain differences of their menu items. It's no wonder that by the time I left, the Caribbean Kitchen had the biggest line of any vendor in the market. I highly recommend this as a lunch spot if you find yourself in...
