The Tamale Girl — Restaurant in Kitchener

The Tamale Girl offers the best Tamales 🫔 by far and without exception. The Vegan and SPEZ are my personal favourites. The flavours are exceptional and so authentic. Recently I was able to purchase several dozen Tamales to bring home and share with my friends. Everyone was amazed especially by the presentation and taste.

Kathy is such a pleasure and delight which compliments the whole experience.

We got frozen tamales here last weekend and just finished them, had to immediately come leave a five star review as they were SO GOOD. We tried the spicy vegan as well as a beef and a chicken option and all of them were so good (my partner's fave was the spicy vegan, mine was the beef). Also service was fantastic, both employees in were very friendly, and the girl serving the tamales was just the sweetest. Will absolutely be back, and highly recommend swinging by this corner...

Growing up as a mexican in Canada it's hard to find good tamales that aren't made by your family. They're either authentic, but frozen. Or not authentic, but made fresh.

Tamale girl fits into the second column. You can tell they are not mass manufactured, but homemade. But unfortunately both the cost, and the taste of the end product does not hold a candle to real tamales.
