We arrived post-lunch, but the loaves, pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and mixes on display still persuaded us to bring a couple of them home. The gluten free loaves are heavy on weight. There are options for people with different types of dietary restrictions. When in doubt, just ask! And there are plenty of indoor seatings for customers to enjoy their purchase with house-made beverages. Ample parking space nearby the shop in Belmont Market. One suggestion to the store is to indicate the price of each item so customers could better decide.

It is so lovely to be in a place where we can eat EVERYTHING on the menu!! We enjoyed a breakfast bacon quiche, a brioche with Parmesan and spinach (great flavour), a breakfast panini and a berry muffin. The bread used for the panini had amazing flavour and texture so we grabbed a loaf to take home. We are sorry not to live here but will definitely put it on our ā€˜must visit’ list for when we return! We were also DELIGHTED to be asked to show our vaccine passports so we could sit and eat. Keep up the great work!

Came in for a cappuccino and a spinach galette. The coffee was burnt and only filled 1/2 way. The gallete was overwhelmingly lemony, and I couldn’t finish it. I’ve been here before and the service was much better and the coffee was better as well. One staff member in particular could be heard cussing loudly as they conversed with the rest of the staff from the register into the kitchen. They were kind during interactions with customers but overall this cafe is not as nice as it has been in the past. Bummer.

Great selection of gluten free food and baking. Expensive. Paid $70 for a birthday cake for 8 people. Gluten free bread very moist. Sells out of bread so go early. Can order in advance, online, prepay and do a quick pick up. Langford store is not the main bakery, which is in Victoria. Small pies enough for 2 available. I have to update my review after visiting a few weeks later. Origin Bakery has been my bakery for years, but I now believe they have out priced themselves. The prices are getting too high for my senior's budget. How many are willing to pay $12 for a loaf of Harvest bread. Not me. $14 for a 6" pumpkin pie. Not me. $8 for one feta/spinach bun size savory pie. Not me. Origins - goodbye. I'm learning how to bake my own bread. I just went down the road to the Bulk Barn and purchased the multigrain gluten-free flour, yeast and...

Having been to many gluten free bakeries and cafes in Canada and around the world, I have to say Origin is a disappointment for me personally. The quality of the gluten free items that I was able to try being dairy free was very limiting and did not taste good. The flour mixture used leaves a strange after taste and unfortunately most of the products contain butter or some kind of dairy. It would be nice if there were more dairy free items for me to try but unfortunately that's not the case so I can't speak for all their products but at least the vegan and dairy free items I've had were pretty disappointing for the price. Every time I've gone over the years the service was...

I really enjoy the variety of gluten free products at this bakery but the prices are just ridiculous for what you get. I went today and bought 2 cookies, 2 small muffins and a ā€œlargeā€ coffee & the total came to $20. Now that’s fine but my $6 coffee was in a SMALL cup and when I asked the barista, she assured me it was indeed their ā€˜large.’ I may have let it go if my chai tea latte had tasted anything like a chai latte but it was horrible and I couldn’t even finish it. I will visit on occasion for a treat but I’ll never again buy coffee from here. If you’re going to charge $6 for a tiny cup of whatever that was, I’ll just go to Tim’s and pay $3 for an...
