Fatburger Langford — Restaurant in Langford

Genuinely the most horrendous fast food experience I have ever encountered. (I have eaten a lot of fast food, trust me.) It was so bad, that I ended up throwing up in a parking lot with my partner getting sick after 2 small bites. My immediate impression was that the meat was not beef, almost tasted like dog or ground pork. It was riddled with bones, as if the animal had been processed in a meatgrinder. Just drenched in sauce, toppings were slopped on all over the place and tasted like they had been sitting for a week in refrigeration. The fries were cold, wet, and stale. 100% these fries had been sitting the entire day, as they had no fresh taste whatsoever. That's just the food.

When I went to pay, I ordered a combo that included a milkshake. I asked multiple times that this shake would be included with the combo, to suprisingly increasingly aggressive responses, where the woman (I assume it was the manager) sidestepped my question close to 5 times, sometimes pretending she didn't speak english. Eventually I just gave up and said I'd pay for the milkshake separately. Without informing me, she charged me an extra fee on top of the milkshake for it being a "premium flavor" which was not advertised, and it cost about 12$ for a MEDIUM shake advertised as included with the combo. Which thank God I got because it masked the absolutely disgusting taste of the food.

Waited 25 minutes for our food while the employees literally stood around talking. The owners of this business clearly have money, as theres enough TV's in this greaser joint to supply a large Mall. Clearly the priority is not quality at this location. But it is to draw you in and get your money with the Fatburger logo!

I love Fatburger. Don't eat here. Save yourself the agony and go to...

After eating at the high point Fatburger in Abbotsford ,I saw Fatburger Langford on the way to Victoria. We stopped and I headed in to get two burgers. Entered at 553 pm. There was 1 table of two people and skip dishes guy waiting to the side. I ordered my burgers 34 dollars and change on my visa. I then wait,waited,waited, now was 621 I had seen 5 skip the dishes guys come and go each waiting also less then 5 minutes. 623 I see the same skip dishes guy come again for second visit. 627 I get up go counter and ask to just refund my visa. She says it’s coming right now. She talks to another girl who looks around order for Jason order for Jason. I see a girl then throwing my burger literally together. I said just want be reimbursed on my visa I gotta go. A guy comes over and says coming now and just stands there staring at the girls. I say been half hour for two burgers. He goes no it’s been long pause long pause well whatever. That’s the answer well whatever. Really?? They tell me cant refund it, I ask for manager and they both then tell me only cash refund. No idea why if I payed visa can’t get it back on visa but sure sounds great. This takes another 5 minutes at the counter and girl comes with a bag .,no thanks I will just take my money and waste of my holiday time and waste of my gas running for 45 in the truck with my girlfriend and dog and chalk up Victoria service is definitely not service. I hope this is not things to come of Victoria hospitality. I mean two burgers come on Fatburger can do better then that. Perhaps teach time management cause certainly plenty of staff there seven people working.

Pros: a. Burgers were filling and tasty. b. Mini Choc shake had real whipped cream (*though the cream was unsweetened) and was tasty. c. Attentive & friendly floor staff / bus person. An unexpected service for a fast food establishment. d. Patty excellent. Fresh veg on burgers excellent.

Cons: a. Mini shake cost almost 4$ and is the size of a McDs kids drink. b. Cost of 2 burgers, 1 sm fries, 1 fountain drink, & mini shake was $30. For TWO = too much for me to want to come back. c. My daughter had to scrape off 2 tbsp of onions on a burger that was supposed to not have onions, but maybe the new staff person who was clearly struggling with the touchscreen missed this detail. Not a deal breaker. Just make.sure when they read the order back to you check for changes like this to have been put in, as I had my chance and blew it. d. When I pointed out to the bus person that my combo was missing its soda another (?manager) lady asked to see my receipt. I pointed out I obviously have the combo and no cup and she left...I showed her my receipt when she returned with the cup, but felt odd they asked to see a receipt for such an obvious error on their part. Just the same the drinks selection is also a plus... 2 types of uncarbonated lemonade, and cherry coke along with other fountain faves. e. Gravy is a basic mix. f. Pineapple add on is not grilled, just warmed and dripping in juice making the burger sloppy and squishy.

Overall I may eat here again if someone else pays because the burger was tasty but overpriced for what you got and how long we had to wait at 5:45 on...
