You would have expected a better service since they already added the gratuity to the bill. We were a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids--one we still had to feed). Food is good. It is their service that needs improvement. We were not even half way done our food and they have started bussing some empty dishes from our table (which was fine when we were done some little items). They gave us our bill even if we have not asked for it (subtly telling us we have to leave) then took it back (I think because they forgot to add the auto-gratuity for party of 6). Some of us were not done eating yet but they kept getting stuff from our table. Yes, we have been there more than an hour but not everything we order arrived at the same time. The worst part was taking the stuff/dishes that a person is still eating (which of course we had to stop them from doing). We personally think that was plainly rude (especially if they would require us to pay the gratuity-- which I think is much more deserved when a good service is given). We understand that there are people waiting to be seated but there was nothing written nor we were told we could not stay there more than an hour. Some people in our group were still eating, we were not just chatting and staring at each other. So hurrying us by taking even something we were eating is just bad. Our friends would not have tried them out if their fave sushi place was open...

However, when we went here for a birthday party that had been reserved for a larger group, I ordered a dessert as a starter and had clearly labeled it as such. I didn't get it till after my roll came. When my roll got to the table I didn't even touch it and none of the servers even asked me if everything was okay. I stated clearly to several of the servers that I had clearly printed beside the roll that it was a starter, the response I got, 'oh, they are really busy back there.' I'm sorry, but this party was reserved well over a week before the dinner. When I got my receipt for my meal, I was disappointed to see that I was being charged full price and the tip already applied. I asked the server if a discount could be applied to my order as nothing was done to make my experience right. Rather then deal with it right away, the server continued to take transactions from the other parties in our group and then walked away without a word to me before coming back with a new receipt with a 20% discount. Read moreI need to send a special thank you to everyone who was working tonight. They really made us feel welcome and comforted my daughter when a really scary situation happened.
My daughter started choking and it caused a bit of a commotion. Everyone was so good and helped tidy the table while I took her to wash up etc. after seeing that she was visibly upset and embarrassed of what just happened one of the waiters brought her out some ice cream with a cool little wafer cookie off the side. It was the coolest and warmest gesture it really made her feel happy and helped shrug off the scary moment we had. The biggest hug and thank you to you all! Thank you again for your help and making my daughter feel that it was okay and accidents happen. It brought so much joy to see this.
On top of all this the food is always great! We frequent about once a month. And well most definitely be back! But all these hard workers deserve a special thank you...
