White Spot Langford — Restaurant in Langford

Totally underwhelmed with this location. I have been here on several occasions and not had many issues but today was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant.

Firstly it's BC family day, ok I understand it's going to be s bit busier than usual, and we did not make a reservation, but 40 minute wait for 6 adults and a toddler is just not acceptable. We arrived at 10:30am we were seated at 11:10am. So this is not all on them as I said I did not make a reservation.

Secondly, is the total inconsistent service. I'm not really one to complain but the service is just atrocious. You take our order for drinks, forget half of them, then take additional drink orders and still forget the cream, sugar, and spoons for coffee?? Like come on....

Thirdly, this issue is with the meal itself. My eggs benny was cold, the hash browns cold and stale, and it did not look like it was worth the $12.99 price tag. Looked like a kids meal. I look over at my wife's burger and it looks amazing. As it was just at the lunch hour my son was denied pancakes.....at 11:15am as breakfast was done. So I believe their brunch menu items are more of a after though and gets neglected as it's now lunch? So I got a crappy brunch and my son was not allowed pancakes like he wanted. Thank you.

Forth and final issue, hair on my side of sausage. It was short, curly, and black. Probably from a moustache. I'm bald and clean shaven so it wasn't mine and I don't have black hair. So that is the final straw.

Never coming back here again. I will spend my hard earned $$ at a place where I know the service, food, and cleanliness will be better. I didn't waste my time dealing with a manager or supervisor at the restaurant as I don't want a gift card to come back. I just want this read so that it can be passed...

We will never go here again. We we're very frequently customers (every two weeks for takeout and often dined in with family). We had good service for years until last year. We had one incident where we had friends over and ordered the four peice legendary burger deal. All our burgers we're undercooked. I talked to management via email who apologized and offered to mail a gift card to comp the meal (which I did not ASK for) I felt satisfied with that especially since wed only had good service before. GC never arrived but I let it go. Had some good orders then when 35 weeks pregnant ordered breakfast to go. Got home and half the meal was missing, my meal looked as though it was left overs slide off someone's plate. I was too pregnant to go back and emailed the manager who then called me, apologized and said the pictures I showed we're unacceptable to be served to us. The manager again offered a GC which I accepted. That was two months ago...nothing again. On the eve of my delivery my parents took us for dinner. At 39 weeks pregnant I had the pleasure of being mid meal only to watch other patrons shreiking and freaking out due to a mouse running around in our section. Staff only came over after being alerted by a customer, two young gals half heartedly tried to catch it but getting on the floor and looking around.... so disgusting. It's dissapointing because we used to love this resteraunt and it has gone significantly downhill....I would never eat here again. **EDIT: Well a week after I posted this a gift certificate "magically" appeared in my mailbox. For the Langford location only...where I will never eat again...too little...

The food was good, when we finally got it! We sat for almost an hour after ordering before we got our meals..well 4 out of 5..my husband had to wait even longer as they totally missed his order..we had to twice request missing items that were supposed to come with the meals..i spilled my water all over the table and used all the napkins we had to clean up as much as possible untill we could ask someone to bring some towels...they eventually brought handfulls of paper towels..we didnt have a problem with cleaning up the mess..it happens..but its the staff that wanders around in a zombie like state totally oblivious of their surroundings..at least 4 staff members walked right past our table while we tried to flag them for some help..non of these people seemed to have no interest in, and in no hurry to do their job... in my observation the job was to clear up tables for next customers..the problem is ..there's four that i could see doing that job and one waitress practically running circles around the others..we ran out of time and to leave before my granddaughter got her pirate pack ice cream dessert ..this was a requested location for her birthday lunch, and it was not a good experience all around..mind you, the floor staff were not rude, but they were very neglective..the waitress was very nice and apologetic, but no restitution was offered, and was rejected when i requested something to rectify it..the bill was over $100, i could have made my granddaughter macaroni and cheese at home for $2...I don't think we will be back...
