I was not going to post this, but it's really not sitting right with me. I will say at the end of what happened the manager was very pleasant with me over the phone but there was no real solution I felt. It really was a horrible experience for me. I tried to order a quick coffee and breakfast before work only to end up at work with nothing and almost crying from confusion on why I was being treated so poorly by the staff. I "tried" to order maple bacon, with 2 pieces of cheddar on a Croissant. The employee then rudely said "you want a simply bacon" I said I'm not sure what that would be called?" Now confused. I tried to tell them I would just like it on the new breakfast croissant they have as I usually order it on a bagel. As I was trying to speak, she very rudely interrupted me, saying, "OK OK, OK..." I then said sorry, I was just trying to explain.... she changed her tune a bit until I got my order, which was wrong. There was 1 slice of processed cheese when I tried to ask for 2 slices of cheddar cheese, and it was cold, not hot at all. I checked before I left because I figured since she interrupted me, it probably wasn't going to be the right order. While I told them it wasn't what I ordered one of the employees came over and said "what now" I said sorry but this isnt what I ordered, and can I ask why your being so rude to me? I got a ton of attitude back and ultimately just asked for a refund and if I could speak to the manager about what just happened, the employee then got mad at me saying well then you need to come inside! I didn't have time for this as I was trying to get to work. I understand working at tim Hortons is a stressful job as I use to work at one. But I would never ever treat a customer like that for no reason. I was in shock and almost crying again, didn't no what I did to deserve to be talked to so rudely. The manager did shove me off when I called at the beginning but eventually ended up talking to the employee. I do feel like he was not understanding what his staff just did. But I appreciate that he apologized to me. I do think more needs to be done. And reading thru previous reviews, it seems like customer service is a problem. I will never be going back. And will be letting...
Read moreRecently I ordered London fog with whipped cream, the cashier warned me that I would have to pay extra for it. I included it in the bill, paid and I was the only one in the cafe. A couple of minutes later I received my tea, of course without cream. When I said this, girl just silently took it and added cream, one drop!!! Yesterday I ordered two hot drinks and a pistachio iced cup. I received hot drinks and where the advertisement showed whipped cream on the drink, of course I received it without. And again I asked the waiter about this. After everyone left, I was still standing and waiting for my third drink, then a girl came up to me and asked, what are you waiting for? I said my third cold drink. They simply forgot about it. The people working there are very unprofessional, they are absolutely lost and don’t understand what they need to do and how to communicate with people. Why is there such a problem with whipped cream? If you charge extra money for it, why not add a normal amount? What is this one drop? Does your manager take money from your salary if you add more than a millimeter? I cannot explain it another way. In advertising it is very beautiful, in fact it is just a scam. The funny thing is that the Canadian brand Tim Hortons in other countries looks like an expensive coffee house with excellent staff and clean place. And in the country of origin it looks like...
Read moreI just went through drive thru and boy did I leave feeling disgusted. I needed a gift card, and I also bought a drink. The staff member taking payments was in training. It was my second time trying to use the app. It wouldn't work, and eventually the new staff member figured out that I could not pay for the gift card with the app (which seems silly to me, but, whatever), so I pay for my drink with the app and then the GC with credit card. This took a few extra seconds, but I was pleased with how the trainee handled things, she was kind to me and we figured it out. Why I am writing this review is because every 15 seconds or so, some random person was yelling to hurry up in drive thru as ''it had been 90 seconds" and "there were other people in line" and "what's going on here?" and so on and so forth. This was humiliating to me (and I imagine to the trainee). I wasn't doing this on purpose. Also, if the person yelling was so concerned, why didn't they come over to see if they could help us figure out the payment issue instead of just yelling about it????? Honestly! What a terrible experience! The yelling also doesn't teach that poor trainee a thing. I ended up apologizing to her, saying the delay was my fault and she didn't deserve to be yelled at about it. What a terrible and unprofessional way to run a business. I'm...
