Casa Grecque — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant. I always go to this place and I introduced to my friends but unfortunately this evening I encountered 2 waiters one man and another woman that were very rude to us specially this man who was defending the Coworker instead of apologizing to us that she never did her service to us she always left us without giving a good service never fill our water always rushing to take the plate from us eventhough we were still eating and when we finished I told her the bill plz she came after 30 mins we were waiting imagine just to pay and she was passing many times in front of us ignoring us and me waving and waving to her I wanna pay she was ignoring because she was talking and chilling with her coworker who was defending her he bully us he harass us telling us better go home I would like the owner of this restaurant to know that he doesn't have qualified people to do that job they donno how to respect the customer I always eat there some of them are nice and I was very shocked when I see this level of education this waiter has. That's why I never give any tips and that's my right because she doesn't deserve she never served us a good service and never respected us as a regular customer for this waiter I say better go to school and have some training to deal with customers because it's 0 over 10 for sure for this waitress I can add to her she better not to forget the customers and go chill with The employees. Be advised that this man lost his mind started screaming I think he has problem so better not to go to work if he has a pb stay home because you gonna lose many customers With this kind of behavior. Regarding the food it's good I can't complain the main reason why I didn't give tip i repeat is the behavior of that guy who has a big pb I think he is stressed too much and the waitress who doesn't give any importance to customer. I always went to this place to celebrate all my occasions I was satisfied from the service but for tonight it was a mess from those two employee's they don't know what is the customer needs and wants and they want you to give tip by forcing even they didn't look after thr customers it's very weird u want money but you don't give a good service. Do u think it's fair to the customer to take there plates while they are still eating and rushing them and even no water filled after they are finished? And at tye end we asked for the bill and they let us wait 30 mins. So I guess I am right not to give anything because I wasn't satisfied specially he harassed us not to come back in your restaurant and order uber eats according to your waiter. I think he is ruining your restaurant...July 28, 2023 by the way I advised the guy at the entrance who welcome the ppl who is really nice to tell the manager bcz it's not acceptable what he did for sure they gonna do that again to other customers keep on eye to there behaviors am not against this restaurant we really love it food is good but those two employees are not qualified enough those 2 workers are working in the evening shift be careful to there...

This restaurant deserves 0 stars.

We went tonight May 12th for Mother’s Day dinner for 7pm. We walk into the restaurant and it is jammed packed but we think nothing of it. We were seated I would say no later than 7:10. All is well, we make our food choices and the waitress takes our order. We notice that it is starting to take long. Half an hour goes by, forty minutes go by, and soon an hour goes by, and still we have not received our meals. At this point we’ve already asked the waitress what is taking so long. She responds by saying it’s very busy and that we will get our food shortly. At this point, an hour and a half goes by, so we start to get annoyed and we ask again, and this time we ask the hostess. The hostess replied by saying that management decided to take the Uber orders as a priority over the orders in the dining room, and this is why our food has not yet arrived, because they are backed up. Not long after this, my mom gets her plate first, and the rest of us don’t. We still had to wait almost another half our before we all got our food. In total, it took over two hours to recieve our food. We were all eating by 9:00 and we got there at 7:00! We literally had to eat and run, and because two hours had gone by, we were all too annoyed to even feel like eating at this point.

After eating, which by the way the food was just ok and was nothing great (My moms plate came cold and everyone else’s food was mediocre), my father in law decides to go and find the manager to speak about this situation, and how waiting two hours to eat is unacceptable.

The manager did not know what to say, and did not even offer to help or compensate us in any way. He just let us leave, and said if we wanted to write a bad review, then so be it.

So there you have it. DO NOT go to the Casa greque on 305 Saint Martin in Laval.

I went there unwillingly with a group of friends knowing exactly what I was about to get and it was even worse that all my expectations... At first I decided to play along and ordered some sort of Greek egg rolls with cheese as entree (yes Greek egg rolls, you can't make this up) then my dish arrived and I didn't find it funny anymore. I felt actually sad for all the clients not realizing that they are basically giving money to a highschool cafeteria disguised as a restaurant. They will give you the very least and cheapest possible plate for the highest price they can almost get away with. My 25$ plate consisted of a handful of unseasoned and oily salad, (the very same kind of pre sliced/shredded salad you can buy at the grocery store) a handful of the same rice you'll find at any Greek chain restaurants, over marinated and super salty souvlaki, literally 2 potatoe quarter wedges which is surprisingly even cheaper that the 3 potatoes you can see on the menus pictures and the mildest tzatziki I ever had . I don't blame the cooks/employees at all tho. I'm sure they have to work following very strict and unfortunate guidelines. I'm convinced at this point that ppl still got there thinking they cant make something better for themselves and I swear to you that you absolutely can. The owners are laughing at you all the way...
