We made reservations to celebrate a birthday with a nice dinner among 10 friends. What we got was a dimly lit restaurant jammed from windows to walls with tables that were having a party for 100 people in medieval costumes. There was a DJ playing loud music and near the entrance, a small space to dance. They tried to force a set menu on us at exorbitant pricing claiming they had no other menu. We showed them what they had posted online and they came around to letting us order a la carte. The chairs we sat on were threadbare, not a cushion left on them. The table jammed up against the fireplace and next to another table of people which pretty much could have joined our party. The pasta wasn't edible, gigi sauce was pooling with oil on the bottom of the plate and the taste drowned in salt. The seafood pasta was drowned in butter and oil, we returned it as well. The pizza was decent. Not sure if the restaurant is licensed to turn into a party/reception hall since it seemed like a fire hazard waiting to happen. Also, if you're going to take reservations on top of a 100 people party, you should let people know ahead of time. Definitely will not go back! My friends were disheartened since they tried to surprise me for my birthday and instead the whole evening was spoiled with this...
Read moreI don't get the negative reviews of this place. Those people must have fallen on some bad times the restaurant must have gone through. Our experience was fantastic. To make whoever is reading this understand what to expect when they come to this restaurant, it is like a mini wedding. The place is going to be very loud with some dancing in a small place and you are going to love it. Even the music will resemble that of a wedding. My in-laws got to dance the tango. My children were on the dance floor the whole night. The food is pretty good for the price. Actually, all our entrées were phenomenal. We cleaned out the mussels, calamari, sausage and fried zucchini. Our main dishes were fantastic as well. I took the mixed plate which was porc chicken and sausage. I ate it all. My brother in law took the steak which smelled great. He seemed to enjoy it as well. You do not go to this place to have a quiet fine dining experience. This place is to go have fun, dance and enjoy a party. Highly suggest anniversaries, birthdays there. I personally will go back with just the wife and two kids. Where else can you go with your kids and party it...
Read moreRented out the resteraunt with 30 people and orderd the 3 course meal for 42 dollars. Soup was tasted of equal to a canned soup. Salad was acceptable but nothing amazing. Orderd the meat combo plate and the porkchop was dry and tasteless , sausage was mediocre ,and chicken was very nice. Overall not great . Friend orderd a medium steak it came rare and had the thickness of cardboard with taste equal to cardboard aswell, garnished I assume with salt and pepper and that's it. Another friend orderd speghetti and chicken parmesan , speghetti can be improved by just making it at home and the chicken parmesan is soggy and kinda hard overall rough. Potatoes were undercooked and vegetables plated with most plates tasted frozen or from a can. Servers were obviously cold all day and when 20 seconds away from paying they pump up the charm and start pulling out the compliments as if it isn't obvious manipulation. Many of the interactions by the waiters and waitresses would ask if everything was good? And then walk away before they could get a response. Overall miserable experience only memoriable part that is positive is the DJ and...
