A honest review.

I've always enjoyed going to kam shing. We know everyone there and the food is splendid. Before the pandemic they had this amazing hot sauce which stood out as much as there tea. The owner was always there to keep things the way they should be. But since the pandemic things arent what the used to be. Which I understand; nothing is the same anymore. The sauce they now have isnt the original sauce. Theres unfortunately no more tea which I understand too ; there arent as many waiters and staff. And the food hasn't changed and our waiter humble attitude is still there. All in all it's a wonderful chinese restaurant which serves to my taste the best chinese food around laval. But i long the small details in the sauce , soya sauce in packets instead of bottle and the warm feeling of a hot tea before our meal because that's what made this...

Although 25 yrs in business, it was our first time at this Cantonese/Szechuan restaurant. As we are still in Code Red virus level, no sit down seating in play but the takeout service was polite,, bilingual and friendly. Order process was quick and food was prepared with reasonable wait time. The won ton soup was filling and tasty, peanut butter dumplings and beef & snow peas were good. I love pineapple chicken and unfortunately did not hit the mark (dry, doughy,sauce not tasty like it should). Noodles with scallions and ginger were decent. Overall I would say the meal was satisfying but was not a 'homerun' ⚾ . We took into account the transport time which can affect textures of food but will return to try other items on the menu to see if a better experience can...

La pire experience malheureusement , je suis aller la pour la premiere fois , jai commander un general tao avec mon amie , au depart l'accueil etais tres froide , je me sentais de trop , jai demander un menu apres 5minutes a le feuilleté on me regardais pour me dire de me depecher a choisir je me sentais presser ! Par la suite, rendue chez moi il y avais de la sauce partout dans le sac eclabousser car il ne ferme pas le bol en carton et ne le dit pas ! Jai fini par enfin prendre une boucher remdue chez moi et a la deuxieme boucher , surprise !!! Jai envaler un gros morceau de jalapinos, ca ete terriblement fort et ca ma prit beaucoup de temps avant daller mieu jai mamger du pain bu de leau du lait de la creme glacer ca ma bruler jusque dans les oreilles ! Je nest pas voulue reprendre de boucher ma bouche ne cesser de bruler jai donc appeler pour demander pourquoi il navertisse pas leurs clienta surtour les nouveaux quil y a des morceaux de jalapinos de du general tao et elle a mis le telephone de coter et ma oublier , je me suis donc representer au restaurant gentillement pour lui dire que je ne suis pas capable de manger des trucs autant fort et epicé et quils devraient au moin avertir les gens et elle ma dit que ce nest pas normal que jai manger le piment quils faut fouiller dans ca nouriture pour les enlever mais comment suis-je censer le savoir ?? Et de toute facons quand jachete ce nest pas poir commencer a triller et enlever des aliments ! Par la suite je lui est dit que les boites etais ouverte et que ca couler partout et elle ma dit oui ont ne ferme pas les boites encore une fois avertisser vos clients ?? Elle etais tres desagreable , bete , soupirais , a lancer les retour de general tao dans le lavabo devant tout les clients , jai demander un remboursement elle ses facher apres moi, ont a payer debit 2 factures separer , on ses faite rebourser cash en une facture et pour finir , en me rembourser elle mais carrement lancer largent , ses completement hallucinent comment je me suis faite manquer de respect quand jai rester polie tout le long malgres mon mecontement alors sa serais le dernier restaurant que je refererais aucun point positif a dire cetais nul , jai fini au mcdonald a 7h le soir et sa ete une experience 2 fois mieux qud...
