If I could I would give this place more than 5 stars. I go there with my wife from time to time depending on my work schedule. The staff is terrific, and the food is excellent.

The food quality is very much like the quality you would have at home. The portions are good, and the food content is well balanced.

When coming in for breakfast they also offer in their menu a nice selection of lunch type dinners. This is great if you are the type of person that prefers a lunch for breakfast. There are a lot of selections in the menu for both breakfast and lunch. If you don't see something in the menu the way you would like it ask the waitress. If they can do it for you they will.

The atmosphere is relaxed and very much like you would find in a small town. No loud noises and no loud music as like many other places have. The menu is well presented and easy to follow.

Parking at the location is easy. Once inside the seating is comfortable. You can have a pot of coffee at your table if you like to drink a lot of coffee. For someone who prefers decaffeinated coffee they will make it.

Pros greeted promptly and seated right away offered a newspaper since I was dining alone food arrived incredibly fast fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious server was very friendly and efficient

Cons dirty silverware at my table that was supposed to be clean dirty plate served to me food crumbs all over booth seats breakfast potatoes were mushy (not my style I love crispy potatoes) bacon was super salty the banana royale wasn't very flavorful. Not a lot of English cream which is the best part.

Would I go back? No. There are better options where cleanliness isn't an issue and food quality...

The service was great! As for the food, you get good value for your money. A smoothie that would cost you between 8-10$ is only 5$ at L’Eggspress Laval. They have a diverse menu for every palate with a good price range. The portions are big and filling. I got a Mediterranean omelette and a berries smoothie. I traded one of my toasts for my boyfriend’s fruit bowl and made myself a peanut butter and banana toast with the other. The quality of the fruits is worth mentioning, as well as the potatoes which were rich. I highly recommend...
