McDonald's — Restaurant in Lethbridge

Tried to do the drive through here last Friday (Sep 1, 2023) as we were in a hurry. Could see vehicles lined up so almost changed our mind but they were going through pretty fast so I went. Ordered two Egg McMuffin meals and some extras. Moved ahead, paid and then was told to just park in front of the building. A few minutes later a girl comes out with a bag, I opened my window to see if it was our order, it was not. She was searching the parking lot for a car who had ordered this meal. While this is going on more an more cars are coming from the drive through and parking in the parking lot. The girl comes out a little while later with another order (still not mine). More cars are parking. I go inside and wait in line to see if I can get my order. It has been close to 15 minutes and only stopped because I thought it would be FAST. The inside is empty, the parking lot is full. Finally get someone's attention and ask about my order. I am told they are getting to it. I ended up leaving without food or my money. I feel totally ripped off. Not sure who is running this place but they need more help, or something. Also just sending everyone to the parking lot so you can take the money and move the line along gives a very false impression so people think it is not going to be long. I am not happy and if I could give a negative star rating I would. My advice? Eat somewhere...

But the Mayor McGrath Dr.S./ Fairview location Is excellent. 🍔Highly recommended!! Always very professional and friendly, etc. etc.👍🏼👍🏼

Now, back to the 🤮third Avenue location… It has been consistently horrible. The experience we have had with some workers and managers is horrible. Go anywhere else, but here.

By far, the WORST customer service we have ever received from anywhere. Some workers have been impersonal, rude and unaccommodating to reasonable, most minor requests. Some managers have been negligent of their responsibility to intervene and try to accommodate, but have assumed instead, rather than genuinely listening to reasonable requests. Thus, both failing to help the customer and help the workers better serve the customer. Horrible!

And ... they don't get back to you when you send in a complaint. 🙃How convenient. Totally unsatisfactory!📍

Also, unlike any other locations, there are tons of opioid addict's and vagrants in and around the store you've got to be very careful of. Some beg for money and some are loud and quite aggressive to say the least. Their just seems to be endless problems with that McDonalds. Extremely sad to see the vagrants their. I feel for them, but they can also be a tremendous risk for...

I am so disappointed with the service at this location. I don't go to any other location for comparison but the service is not what I would hope for. Most of the staff are very personable, the problem seems to be with the processes in place that cause the problems. I grab a large double double coffee with a flavor shot pretty much every morning on my way to work. There has been several occasions that there is a price difference and I am told it is due to what is in the computer. Then, to top it off there seems to be only one button for the flavor shot on the till. That being caramel, I never add the caramel, it had been the pumpkin spice and recently the mint for the Christmas season. I am regularly getting the caramel because of the button available on the till. Today is a prime example of this, plus yesterday I paid 1.50 for this drink and today it is 1.60. I inquired as to why the price difference and was told that the shots went up. Oh, and to add insult to injury, the coffee was just warm. This is not the only time I have had a variance in price from one day to the next. All I want is to get what I order at a consistent price and being that it is coffee it would nice to have it hot as well, apparently this is too...
