Only one star on the atmosphere because it's a gas station but if you're going there you already know that. I'm giving them more stars than I'd like to because generally I love Thai Express and I want the people who work there to realize that mistakes happen but it's better to just accept that be decent about it and it'll be fine. They screwed up my order and I didn't know until I got home so I had to go back. I wasn't upset I just wanted it fixed. The guy who filled my order the first time and address the issue this time was not happy about it. He said I didn't order vegan I ordered extra sauce which of course makes no sense. But I get the impression that they haven't been trained on how to deal with problems with customers. So I don't think it's fair for me to give them a lower rating and take it out on the staff because you can only do what you're taught. A food industry is an awful place to work and I can see from comments here already that some people are just nasty about it. Once I finally got the right food it was really good like it always is. I'm just disappointed that the guy chose to try to make me feel bad instead of just saying oh sorry about that let me fix it for you. That's all he needed to do. 7 words and I would have left to happy customer. I was more upset about that interaction that I was about the fact that he made my original order with egg in it. I still gave them two stars for service because he did...
Read moreVery tasty reminds me of udon soup from Calgary. The rolls could be improved the spring rolls look like they are made up daily instead of made to order and there deep fried spring rolls were little oily. I think if they made both these items fresh as orders are placed they would do much better. I will definitely be eating here on a regular basis.
Update Oct 2020 I had the tai soup for dinner and it was horrible the broth had no flavor at all and they put huge chunks of raw onion in with it and raw cubes of carrots. The noodles were so over cooked they were falling apart. This will be the last time I will eat here...
Read moreI was very enthusiastic with the idea of having a pad see ew as it is my fav dish at Thaï Express. I don't leave close to one (min 2hrs of drive), but since it was on my way home I felt like why not.
Sadly, there were no eggs, but no discount for that, there was too much salt, too much sauce, not a lot of vegetables and the noodles were very greasy. Probably one of the worst pad see ew I ever had.
If it was not for the fact that there are a very few Thaï Express in NS I would have given 2 stars, but I am hopeful that this comment will be read and things will change. Also, the staff was friendly....
