I love Thai Food & I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. This restaurant is beautiful & the service from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave is top notch. Our server Orawan was amazing! We ordered the following:

Cocktails - Drunken Monkey & Sexy Devil. Both were absolutely delicious & very well made. The Sexy Devil reminds me of one of my favourite drinks the Cohiba & the Banana liqueur in the Drunken Monkey really made the drink.

Stuffed Chicken Wings - omgoodness, these wings were amazing & like nothing I've ever had. They are super crispy on the outside & the stuffing on the inside was delicious! The sweet sauce on the side was a great accompaniment.

Spicy Calamari - the Calamari was cooked perfectly & it had a nice slightly spicy seasoning on it. It came with large salad & a delicious sauce that once poured over the dish really brings it all together.

Herbal Prawn Salad - this was a very hearty salad with 10 good sized prawns & everything from green apples to mint to Thai chilies all on a bed of lettuce with a Tamarind dressing. It had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy & salty.

Five Spice Fish - a nice deep fried basa fillet with veggies & rice in a sweet sauce. All the elements of this dish worked harmoniously well together.

FBI (Fries Bananas w/Ice Cream) - we decided to get the Coconut Gelato with this dish. The Bananas were perfectly deep fried in a light batter. The coconut gelato was creamy with great coconut flavour. It was a great way to end the meal & the generous portion made it easy to share.

Overall, as far as Thai restaurants go this is definitely one of my favourites & if they served decafe coffee, it might just make it my favourite 😉. I look forward to coming back! Thank you for such a wonderful...

🌟🌟🌟½... Had lettuce wraps with pork, they were excellent a definite must order again item. For our mains we ordered pineapple cashew rice with prawns and sweet and sour stir fry with chicken. The pineapple cashew rice was again excellent just watch out for the tails on the prawns. The sweet and sour stir fry with chicken is nothing special, and the chicken we find has a weird texture which is now the second time we've encountered this. We had to try the mango sticky rice, the presentation was pretty but the green dollop of rice was something different. It was very bitter and even the pink rice tasted different to the white rice, and we wouldn't order that again as you don't even get a full mango for the price you pay.

Well it's been two weeks since that review and I'd like to update this review down to 🌟🌟. We found on their Instagram that they were having an anniversary tasters menu for 9 courses. The appetizers, soup and noodle dish were pretty good... And then a long wait while we watched takeout orders after takeout orders go out the door. Then From the Wok dishes came out and the fish and chicken dish was stone cold, and it's wasn't just us cause the other table got up and maid a stink about the wait time and then cold food right in the middle of the restaurant. We choked ours down but should of sent it back. When the curry came we checked and again the food was cold, a cold lump of dried overcooked beef will not heat up when you dump hot gravy on it. The dessert was mediocre but it was strawberries not raspberries. Overall this was similar to our first experience coming here a year ago, crappy. We shall not be returning here as the food is not consistent cause you never know what you gonna get for such an...

We have visited this restaurant twice recently. Our first impression of it was great. The service was fantastic, waitress was lovely, and the food was excellent! We decided to return to the restaurant recently and our experience was quite different.

While we were enjoying our spring rolls, I felt something inside my mouth and hoped I was wrong but I stopped chewing, reached inside my mouth and sure enough, I pulled out a thick black hair. When I caught the attention of our server, she let us know this had only happened once before. Although I was disgusted, I understand that these things can happen and was very pleasant in my interactions with our server. I also understand it was not her fault of course! My main concern was that she let the kitchen know so that they could hopefully avoid this happening in the future.

When the bill came, we paid and tipped as usual but unfortunately we didn't realize that we had actually been charged for our appetizer (with a $3 discount). We were so confused. I regret not saying something while we were still at the restaurant. I didn't know you could put a price on having another person's hair floating around your mouth but apparently the price is $3. I used to work as a server and if something similar happened, the dish would be comp'd without question. I am hopeful that management reads this and can address this issue, as they unfortunately lost some customers that were looking forward to becoming regulars at this...

Food: First item was chicken skewers were bland (zero seasoning). They would have been great if the had some flavor as they were actually cooked pretty well. The accompanying peanut sauce is so thick and oily that it doesn't stick to the chicken. Second item was "street food" dry pork ribs. $17 for 15 small little bits of spare rib that were tough. The accompanying sticky rice was served to me in a plastic ziplock bag (see picture). I didn't bother taking pictures of anything else as it was unremarkable and similar to the bag of rice. I make sticky rice at home frequently and for the time it took to bring our food (over half an hour) they could have made it fresh. The waitress said this was normal as they "have to reheat it in something or it will dry out". Service: waitresses were all pleasant, didn't have to wait for a table and always had our water topped up. Atmosphere: when you walk in there's a booth with random stuff in the corner that seems kind of strange. Restaurant is dated and nothing special. My 8 year old kept commenting on how strange the silverware was (the knives especially are very strange, long and a very small blade section. Not sure what they were designed for but we've never seen anything like them. They weren't "unique" they were just bad). Anyways, another miss from another maple ridge restaurant.
