My husband and I have been going to booster juice for a while now and have had the same flavour smoothie every time weâve gone.
Today, we decided to grab some smoothies after being at the lake all morning so we dropped by at this location (which weâve been at before). We ordered our usual smoothies but, when we got to the car and had our first sip we knew something was off.
The smoothies tasted sour and foul, as if something was spoiled but we couldnât pin point what exactly. Not to mention the after taste lingered.
We immediately came back inside and brought back the FULL smoothies to ask about maybe remaking or just a refund (in case it was an ingredient issue and therefore a remake wouldnât make sense).
We were met with a specific employee immediately being defensive and lacking any consideration that what we were saying was true.
Instead she proceeded to explain how she has experience in making the drink and how there couldn't be anything wrong because thatâs how itâs made and then listed out what goes in it (even though we KNOW the ingredients again because thatâs the only smoothie we get at booster juice). She also immediately said she wouldnât do a refund before explaining for a few more minutes about how sheâs experienced and how there couldnât be something wrong with the drink.
Finally, she offered to remake smoothies for us, but only the same ones, and at that point we donât want these smoothies if they taste off still. Sure enough, they remade the drinks and I think tried to change something but both smoothies still had the off tasting flavour.
We ended up just saying thank you and taking the smoothies, but not drinking them. A few minutes later, we stopped by a different location to order the same thing and it tasted EXACTLY how it was supposed to, not to mention the color. I attached a photo, the top smoothie is what it is supposed to look and taste like, while the one at the bottom right was not it.
What a waste of money, and Iâm disappointed in the service. We usually love booster juice too but this (no pun intended) puts a bad taste in our mouth, and we will not be going back to...

After the 50$ was up I probably spent an additional 75$ over the course of a couple months. Went to redeem my âberry pointsâ that I certainly accumulated and was promptly told I could not due to some absolute BS about the app. Havenât been back since I got told I couldnât redeem so thatâs that. Not sure the currency rate on per point to $ but I felt like money was stolen from me.
Fast foreword to today (my birthday) and a friend told me you get a free booster juice. God forbid I go back to this place but in my head Iâd figure hey if I got a free booster juice maybe that makes up for all my lost berry points. WRONG. Wonât let me get anything. Place sucks, itâs over priced anyway. So many better places to spend my money. SEE YOU NEVER BOOSTER...

While the 2 ladies were nice âenoughâ I had to repeat my order at least 7 times, I was paying with a gift card that had $50 on it.. they swiped it a total of 9 times. By the end they said it had nothing on it. I had been in here for at least 10 minutes total by now.. I said the card was brand new and theyâve already swiped it multiple times so if itâs going through then yeah they probably just took all the money out. Once I said this it took less than 2 minutes for her to hand me receipt telling me how much was left. Just seemed fishy to me. I also find it interesting that all these reviews they have and the owner only responds to the one thatâs a direct complaint against himself. Not so professional in my opinion and they should care and value ALL their customers.. good...
