Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Markham

With the 20 degree weather and a beautiful shining sun, I couldn't say no to ice cream! I got tempted when I saw two others walking out with cups in their hand, so I went with my sister.

First off, I must say that the employee working was SO NICE. He was polite and well-mannered, happy to answer all our questions. For his and our safety, he was wearing a surgical mask due to the current pandemic.

We ended up opting for a double scoop - one scoop of the Citrus Sherbet (i.e lime) and one scoop of the Orange Sherbet. Each flavor alone was light and refreshing (I loved both!) But together, they were also delicious and paired well. This came out to around $6.68 with tax included. Contactless payment was easy as well with their credit/debit machine, by tapping.

Overall, the store was visually clean and I appreciate there being no crowds and/or lineups during times like these.

Terrible Customer Service!! I originally called on Monday to get a quote on an ice cream cake. I spoke to a gentleman who gave me quote of $73 for a medium sized ice cream cake. I called back on Wednesday night and spoke with Emily to place the order who informed me that the price was actually $120. She contacted the person i originally spoke to and just told me I was given the wrong price. I asked her if she could honour the price and that was I was originally quoted. Emily told me "You can go to another baskin robins as they will have a different price point." I was so taken back that I was told to go somewhere else. Spoke to the manager who also said they will not be honouring the price I was originally quoted. What's the point in asking for a quote if they are gonna go back and say no! Very...
