We Loved this Domino's Location, but..........
We have been ordering food from this Domino's location for years now and almost no issues have occurred. The pizza is always hot, fresh and very good for a fast-food pizza restaurant. I have had countless Domino's Pizza's over the years. My family and I have picked up our orders by way of the app and had food delivered through the website/app as well.
For the last two orders here we had some issues. The first time we ordered and chose their carry-out service which they offer due to COVID-19. We ordered the Pizza's and Cheesy-Bread and then drove to the plaza where the store is located. We waited over thirty minutes, and finally, I had to get out of car and go on in myself to get my pizza ( this defeated the purpose of the carry-out service). We are 5 minutes away from this location, but when we got home the pizza was barely still warm, which means it was sitting for a while before I went in to get it.
On our most recent order, everything went well, we ordered through the website and everything was going to plan. My daughter and I were outside cleaning snow off the car when the driver came. He showed up, got out of the car and tried to hand the food to my 9 year-old daughter but he wasn't wearing a mask!!! With COVID-19 cases averaging almost ten thousand cases a day due to the OMICRON strain, how could the driver be so careless? Good thing I was right there and intercepted the handoff before my daughter was handed the pizza order. We were both wearing our masks thankfully. The good news is that a Papa Johns just opened in Unionville. Guess where we are getting our...
Read moreI'm sorry, but I have to give low scores for their pizza ONLY. Cleanliness, Service and Atmosphere is good to great. GONE are the yesteryears of when Domino's had a decent number franchise locales and made their pizza's awesome! Fast forward a decade or more with an explosion of locations and their pizza's started to lose it's former glory. If you remember and crave their old school pizza preparedness and deliciousness, If you are ever in the area of Port Perry, I highly recommend that location. I annually go to my Aunt's cottage in Omeemee. THAT is what Domino's pizza should taste like. The owner is an old school Domino's pizza Artisan and had also taught his current and new staff underlings the RIGHT way to achieve Domino's lore. I'm talking 1/2" crispy light crust, near 1/3" thickness (1/2" with toppings and cheese) that after 3 large slices, you're almost full, yet want another. Toppings fresh and the amount just right, cooked how PIZZA PIZZA (overcooked bottom and chewy) shouldn't be. Port Perry's location puts my Markham & Kennedy location to shame. I hope they strive to make their pizza as good and awesome as...
Read moreI went there last night. I ordered Pizza. While I was waiting, I need go washroom badly. But I was told that the washroom is not open to public! They asked me to go to the A&W located in the opposite street for the use of washroom. I went out and I found that it was very uneasy to go the A&W because you had to walk long way by obeying the traffic. I went into the Domino Pizza again and I told them that I really needed to use the washroom. The staff went to ask another man--who is the rudest person I ever saw. He just ignore my inquire and also told me that my Pizza will be ready in 12 minutes! I could not wait that long with my situation . SO I cancelled my order. I will never go there AGAIN!!!! In that store, there are some chairs and tables which perhaps to serve people who want eat in, but the washroom is not open to public--how terrible this will be!!!!! people cannot wash their hands before eating!!! I gave one star to the casher who was a...
