November 2021 4.5★ Grand opening during November 12, 13, 14. At 50% off, it's a great deal. Usually when things are priced this low, you'd expect quality to be bad or portions to be small. First time trying it, despite a few locations around the city and after doing so, the great deal became an awesome deal. This restaurant seats about 50 people comfortably. High ceilings and decent chairs, clean tables and b attentive staff. The food is pretty good too. The noodles are made of a pork broth simmered for over 12 hours. No MSG either. The noodles are all you can eat. The broth is real. It coagulated when I had left overs to a gelatin form. The Original Rice Noodle Soup came with a bit of meat and lots of small sides. Portion wise, it was ok. Though flavor and price were good for what you get. The Spicy & Sour Rice Noodle Soup with Beef Slices & Enoki Mushrooms was good, though the level 3 spiciness was not really spicy. The Yang's Braised Chicken rice was good. You can really taste the herbs used. The Chinese Sauerkraut Fish Rice Noodle Soup was good. A bit tangy sour and spicy from the hot peppers. The fish pieces were from a "snake fish" and is both crunchy like and fresh. They have it flown in by air after being flash frozen I'm told. For the appetizers, the Sichuan Style Spicy & Crispy Fried Pork Ribs was very good. Crunchy and spicy, though again, could be spicier IMO. Would recommend this item. The Popcorn Chicken, which is more Taiwanese style, was good, though the chicken could've been marinated more. The Signature Chinese Hamburger was underwhelming. The bun was a bit thick and the filling was a bit drier. There are better options elsewhere for this.
Overall, a good portion both meat and vegetables/noodles to price.
Would come again. With the lifetime VIP card that could be used at all their stores, they offer 10%...

The interior is clean, modern, and I was very surprised at how friendly the staff was! I was expecting abrasive service, but there was none of that here!
Their rice noodles are made in Canada, while the broths are simmered for 12 hours with quality ingredients. There is no MSG or artificial flavors, and you can really taste the depth of flavor with each spoonful.
My husband enjoyed the Coconut Curry Rice Noodle Soup immensely. A platter of 10 toppings was included, as well as free noodle refills. He also ordered the superior beef slices for an additional fee.
I tried the Tomato Rice Noodle Soup with Beef Slices and Enoki Mushrooms. What a fantastic choice. It wasn't spicy and provided the perfect balance of sweet and sour. There were generous portions of mushrooms!
This was the first time we tried Yang's Braised Chicken with Rice (bone-in). They share the same space. The chicken was tender, but I think the boneless version is a better choice. There were tiny slivers of bones, so you have to be careful when eating. We ordered it mild, but whoa, it was spicy!
Side dishes: Salty Popcorn Chicken, Taiwan Style Sausages, Deep Fried Squid Tentacles, Signature Pork Rougamo, and New Orleans Fried Chicken Wings. Our favorites were the sausages and chicken wings. So addictive! I think it would be a good idea to offer different sauces though.
This franchise is hugely popular in North America, and we can see why! Great service, amazing food, and a concept that appeals...
Read moreCame here during their opening weekend and sharing my experience based on this visit.
During their opening weekend, they are offering a really sweet deal so I definitely can't say no to checking this restaurant out. It was a rainy, cold Sunday so a hot pot of rice noodle soup is a no brainer. When I got here, the line was long, which is expected. Great minds think alike. The wait to get a table was long, waited over an hour. Normally this is unacceptable but again, it's opening weekend.
I'll start with the restaurant itself. The location is easily accessible. It's in the corner of a section in this plaza. The interior is also spacious with lots of seats. The service was extremely fast. We got our food in no time at all. I guess they want to keep the guests moving.
Now for the food, can't complain. The broth is what you would expect from these restaurants. The tomato was savoury and flavourful. The appetizers were also good. The popcorn chicken was decent sizes and had a good amount of saltiness. They were also generous on the Taiwanese Sausage, good amount of size and location.
One thing also worth mentioning is the Broth is boiled for 12 hours, which I jokingly say that it's not fresh since it's from yesterday. But in all seriousness, it truly enhances the flavour.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit here today and wish them well overtime. Now that winter is coming, I recommend to keep this place in your radar for food that...
