McDonald's — Restaurant in Markham

Worst. McDonald's. Ever.

Once upon a time I went to this McDonald's, and they were offering "The Mcjolly Burger" or something to that extent. With it being Christmas time and all, I was feeling quite Mcjolly myself, so I decided to buy the burger. The burger came with bacon, and I don't eat bacon, so I asked for the burger without it. The paying and receiving process of the food went smooth. After leaving I parked up outside the McDonald's in the parking lot to eat my food. I'm excited at this point, I'm feeling jolly, and now I'm about to munch out on a McJolly burger! As I opened the box, and laid eyes on the Mcjolly burger, I was merely not impressed. It did not look Mcjolly at all. I checked under the bun, and found B A C ON. I don't eat bacon, but even if I did, I probably wouldn't eat that bacon on that burger either. The lettuce looked like it shouldn't be edible for a human being, the sauce wasn't nearly enough for that big dry looking meat patty and big old dry bun. Oh ya and not to mention those very hugely chopped onions. After paying over $10 for this combo, I decided to go back through the drive thru. I tell them my problem, and the say they're going to fix it. We get the new burgers and they're even worse than before. Barely any sauce, big dry meat patty, on a dry big old bun, chunks of poorly cut onions, and some questioning lettuce. I only ate a few bites of it before realizing this was not the burger for me.

Now what I'm about to tell you next, I'm not proud of ! I was soo annoyed with my experience, I was feeling jolly before eating the Mcjolly Burger, but after that whole ordeal, I was not happy. So I did a drive by shooting by throwing the rest of my Mcjolly burger at the doorstep! I couldn't believe I did it, and I couldn't believe that I actually hit the door! My thoughts at the time were how funny it would be to see someone's reaction of a random burger at the doorstep. My thoughts would be how and why is this burger just here?!?

Anyways, Moral of the story kids, do not eat here, and.... nothing is ever...

Was slightly difficult placing my order with cashier..she required help, yet she wasn't wearing a training badge. Then they made a blatant mistake on my order where it was clearly placed as no cheese and yet they still put cheese on my quarter pounder. Then a small discussion ensued about my order, trying to place blame while I was standing there waiting for my order to begin being made. Waste of time there for me.

I had ordered a happy meal and even though specific questions were asked to me at the cashier about the order, they still forgot the sauce for the nuggets.

I had also order two combo meals and requested that both fries be upsized. The cashier repeated the order back to me including the upsized order on both fries. When I got my order, I found one to be upsized and the other not. I then checked my receipt and found out that the cashier, even though repeating back to me the order, forgot to include one of the upsized order of fries and left it as a medium. I addressed the issue with the employee giving me the order and she simply shrugged her shoulders and said "Well, that is what is what she did." The employee just looked at me briefly until I told her that it wasn't my fault and I even offered to pay for the difference to get the order right. The employee roles her eyes and then said not to worry about it. Apparently the 40 cents I saved was supposed to be a big favour and to make up for all the inconvenience.

Finally when I sat down to eat, I found the burger to be quite dry and almost flakey..and pieces were falling out. I guess the cheese acts like a glue for their dry...

The customer service I have received at this McDonald's is absolutely disguising. As a fan of BTS, I was really excited when they announced the collaboration with McDonald's and I was even more thrilled for the packaging. I went in today to get the meal when I was informed that sauces that come with the meal aren't available. On top of that, before completing the order, I asked the cashier if they could give me the appropriate packaging (and showed them a photo on my phone). The cashier proceeded to ask another crew member and came and responded to me saying no, that they can't because it was unavailable. Now I would have been fine with this and drove to another McDonald's, but I could literally see a woman packing an order with the correct BTS packaging as I spoke with the cashier. I didn't say anything so as not to be rude.

It's absolutely repulsive the advantage that McDonald's is taking of this collaboration. BTS have been known to never deliver anything less than 100% for their fans and to see McDonald's tarnishing that is just rude. If you want to get the BTS meal, you have to demand for the right packaging, and even then you may not get it and that's just not right. Please DO NOT go this location for the BTS meal. The customer service is HORRIBLE. It will just be a waste of your time, energy and money. I'm posting this in hope that other BTS fans can learn from my terrible experience so they don't face...
