Update: emailed management and no response weeks later

Disappointing Experience – Both Food and Safety Concerns

I decided to give this place a try, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food isn’t authentic Caribbean cuisine; it’s more of a fusion with odd and unconventional toppings. While I was open to trying something different, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark.

The real issue arose as I was leaving the restaurant. I slipped and fell on the extremely icy steps, completely ruining my food. Concerned about the safety hazard, I approached the staff, specifically Justin, the store manager, to report the incident and the dangerous condition of the steps. His reaction was disappointing—he seemed confused and hesitant to address the issue. When I asked who was responsible for salting the steps, he acknowledged that it was the store’s responsibility but showed no urgency or genuine concern.

Even after I requested to show him the state of the steps, he was reluctant to step outside. I also showed him my ruined food and asked for a replacement and the contact details for the manager, but his response was indifferent.

This experience was frustrating and left me questioning not just the quality of the food but also the establishment’s commitment to customer safety and service.

Would I return? Definitely not. A restaurant should prioritize the well-being of its patrons, and sadly, this one failed...

Heard about this venue and wanted to try it. First and foremost this is not a traditional Caribbean Restaurant. They serve a Fusion of cuisines with Caribbean food. They do it extremely well. The location in Markham only has 5 parking spots, but the service is fast and friendly.

First I had a Jerk Sandwich loaded with all the toppings and hot sauce. About $8.42 tax included. Superb tender, juicy jerk chicken and fresh flavourful toppings. I am from Caribbean and would like a hotter sauce. But this was really good.

I said I would come back Later that day and I ordered 3 meals to last a few days. I ordered a Fish roti with all the toppings a Curry Chicken Roti with all the toppings and a Jerk Chicken Bowl with all the toppings. Total $50.12 Everything had the hot sauce on it. Again beautiful flavours, moist tender chicken. The portions are very large and Satisfying . They have achieved something new in flavour sensations. I highly...

Drove past this place many times and it always caught my eye because it looks so new/clean and brightly lit! Finally got around to trying it and it did not disappoint.

The inside is very clean & spacious. I liked the colourful mural with neon lights. The menu isn't too big but that's a good thing for someone indecisive like me. It is displayed on screens behind the counter but the screens do change a little fast.

Staff were friendly and since it wasn't busy when we went, it was very quick. The portions are generous and the value meals are well priced. The food is very flavourful though I wasn't a fan of the rice. The oxtail was decent but a little on the sweet side. My jerk chicken was soft. Not juicy but definitely not dry as stated in other reviews. I would definitely give it another try.

The parking situation isn't the best as there are only a handful of spots and it's...

I recently tried the jerk chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of spices, delivering that signature smoky, spicy kick. The marinade had the right balance of heat and depth, with hints of allspice, thyme, and scotch bonnet peppers shining through. The meat was tender and juicy, with a beautifully charred exterior that added great texture. The flavors were bold but not overwhelming, making it enjoyable for both spice lovers and those who prefer milder heat. Paired with a side of rice and peas, it made for a hearty, flavorful meal. My only small critique is that I would have loved a bit more of the sauce on the side for dipping. Overall, a fantastic dish that truly captures the essence of authentic jerk chicken! Highly recommend for anyone craving a flavorful and satisfying meal.
