Maharaja in Mission — Restaurant in Mission

Tonight I ate at your restaurant to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. There were 4 adults and a10 month old.

Immediately on entering we noticed the epic renovation that took place. The restaurant doesn't look like it belongs in Mission. Next, the food smells coming from the kitchen made us all realize how hungry we were.

I've eaten a lot of South Asisn fare in my life. I've grown up, being blessed eating home made, but also in many restaurants. Every dish was made with so much love, care and attention to detail. Everything was so flavorful. Nothing tasted alike. The raita even, was the freshest and tastiest I've ever had. Seriously, have the Raita I don't know if the cooks or chef have special experience, or if the ingrediants used are the highest quality - maybe both I'm hoping. But honestly, you've got to eat here.

We had; Garlic naan Mixed vegetables Fish pakora Butter chicken Prawn korma Chilli paneer A lamb dish I can't remember how to say or spell it

The naan was also incredible. Was not super thick and doughy and the garlic on it was so fresh and strong, but not overly so, and nice and buttery the way you want it. The mixed veg, was actually an assortment of veg! Had green beans, carrots, tou, potato. Not just green peppers and onions like many other establishments.

Everything in the establishment was clean. The service so friendly, especially when my 10 month old threw a bit of a screaming fit. (There are high chairs.)

They can accommodate large parties.

Now Mission, this isn't cheap food. Food costs have increased everywhere. But it was what we expected, and for what we received, was exceptional. Let's support amazing cuisine in our town! No more fried chicken and pub food. Thank you. We...

I recently ordered from maharaja in mission and had a bit of a mixed experience that ended on a high note, thanks to their stellar customer service. To start, the food arrived a bit too spicy for my taste. I love a good kick, but this was beyond what I expected and made it nearly impossible to enjoy the meal. I was disappointed because I had ordered a mild dish and ended up with something that felt more like a fiery challenge than a delicious dinner. The flavor itself was there, but the heat was overwhelming. However, what really impressed me was how the restaurant handled the situation. I called to let them know about the issue, and they were incredibly apologetic. Without hesitation, they offered to remake my order with a more mild flavor and even sent it to me fresh—on the house! The second round of food was night and day. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and, most importantly, the spice level was perfect. Everything tasted much better without the excessive heat. The portions were generous, and you could tell they had put extra care into preparing the new order. They also included a small complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and helped turn my initial frustration into satisfaction. While the first experience wasn’t ideal, the fact that they took the time to rectify it so promptly and with such care really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back. We had our Wedding Anniversary dinner at Maharaja. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile 😊 and were welcomed. As you enter the restaurant there is a gorgeous chandelier in the entrance. The color scheme is very soothing. Our waitress was fantastic and very attentive and so pleasant. We started with the lamb kebabs. So tender and flavorful! We each ordered garlic naan with basmati rice and butter chicken. The naan was delicious!!! The basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The butter chicken was the best butter chicken I’ve ever had in my entire life! I asked our waitress to send compliments to the Chef!! It was that good!! The flavors were so authentic and incredibly delicious!! I can’t say enough about how spectacular our experience was. They even brought a piece of, out of this world, chocolate cake to celebrate our Anniversary! Everything was perfect and the staff were so kind and amazing to deal with.
