Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Mississauga

This location is clean and usually everything is in stock. Al of the other cashiers are very nice too. But this young cashier with braids in particular is never good with us. She seems to be lost when she cashed out an item, first time we were there and she asked us item code numbers for most of our products. We told her since when does Bulkbarn need us to remember codes? She said “I’m sorry I don’t know them, you will have to tell me the item/code numbers” so we kept out stuff with her went back and looked for each and every item we took. Clicked pics of each item as there was no pen or paper to do so in the store, came back to her and then gave her all the item code numbers one by one, this is how the first visit was. The second and the third time we visited, she was nothing less than rude. She had a straight face and seemed like she was being forced to help us out with anything. The fourth time we went, it was while COVID had began, and each cashier was helping each customer to pick all the items up. We were so praying that we don’t get her, but our bad luck, we did. And again she was rushing us, seemed so unhelpful, and just wanted to get rid of us. While we were discussing amongst ourselves, she thought we were speaking with her and she kept commenting in between. We told her twice, “I’m sorry, I wasn’t speaking with you” and OMG the look she gave us made us feel like she’s saying “please get out my face” (that kind of look). I think we are willing to drive to another further location of bulk barn rather than coming to this one and seeing that particular cashiers sad and ever...

I’ve never written such a review before, but this visit was ridiculous. We came in as a small group of friends. The worker wouldn’t stop hovering over my friends the entire time, literally on our backs like we were gonna steal a jellybean. Super uncomfortable and unnecessary.

ANDDDDDDDDDDD….. to top it off, when my friend went to use the washroom, she started crashing out at him, even though using the potty is a basic human right. Totally uncalled for. The whole thing just felt rude and unwelcoming. We ended up leaving without buying anything and we don’t plan on coming back to buy any either. She’s just making bulk barn lose business. Can’t remember her...

During my visit, I touched a chocolate item, unaware that this was not permitted. There were no visible signs indicating this restriction, nor had any staff member informed me of such a policy. Instead of addressing the situation politely,ASTHA approached me with a stern demeanor and spoke in a manner I found to be unwelcoming and unprofessional very cheap attitude This experience left me feeling disrespected and disappointed, as I believe all customers should be treated with courtesy and understanding.
