Excellent food, even better than some of the Latin American restaurants along Keele, St Clair.. definitely home style because the food tastes authentic, it’s done well with good and fresh ingredients. The buñuelos were fantastic, fluffy inside, moist with the outside having a firm enough exterior, giant buñuelos. Bad for my health as it’s deep fried but good for my soul! We bought 4 large ones! $3@ better than most buñuelos we’ve tried. The pargo frito (snapper) was fresh, crispy and seasoned perfectly. The rice was flavourful and the salad was generous. It had patacones too. It was a weekend so there was soup. We had the fish sancocho, good choice! The rice was cooked in coconut - milk? Oil? Not sure but it was flavourful and divine! The sancocho soup was delicious- it had 2 kinds of potato, yucca and plantain, with a piece of corn. Mouthwatering goodness. We also ordered the bandeja paisa. It was a relief that there was no blood sausage and instead, a tasty, savoury sausage that was meaty and delicious. It came with an arepa, flavourful rice, a piece of avocado, thin slice of grilled steak, an egg and a chicharon. Who could ask for more? Oh, and a generous portion of delicious slow cooked savoury beans. We also ordered the maracuya drink and the lulo. Both were good although I liked the lulo more as it wasn’t so sweet. We were given complimentary Colombian coffee after which sealed our satisfaction to the highest level. Service was friendly and quick. Top notch. This family run restaurant is a gem! We found this place by chance and we will return to try the rest of the dishes. Highly recommend!

Ahhhh this place's food is SO GOOD, it's the next day but I'm still staring at the menu salivating. If you want very comforting food, decent portion, and a friendly service, don't skip out on this place! We had the bandeja paisa and lengua a la criolla and they were both just divine. The bandeja paisa is hearty and extremely filling, lots and lots of protein! But if you want to try something a bit more adventurous, try the lengua a la criolla, it is super flavourful and extremely tender, it's also served with the best tasting potato, I don't know what they did to it but it was the last piece of my meal because I loved it so much! If you're with someone, I'd recommend to get both and share. They actually forgot the avocado in our bandeja paisa and offered to give us it after our meal, but we were so stuffed we said it was okay. Lovely folks and beautiful food, we will be back again 100% thank you! Update (March 26 2021): THIS PLACE IS JUST AS GOOD AS LAST TIME!! ahhh love it so much!!! Also try the empanadas if you can!

Raising from 3 to 4 stars. Visited the place again. This time the food was very good. This is a small place in Mississauga offering mostly Colombian typical plates with a small selection of Mexican plates as well. The service was average. I ordered the large Picada and was very disappointed as it was all overcooked. I mentioned about it to the waitress who said that it was the way most of other customers asked for it. Anyway I didn't like it. I will give this place another chance to try some of the other plates and see if I have a better experience. A advice would be to update the website as the advertised business hours do not correspond to the reality.

The food here was outstanding. I picked up a Tampiquena for takeout yesterday and had a 25-minute drive home, so I expected the food to be a little bit sad at least, but it was still glorious when I opened it up at home. Everything was delicious and I was taken aback by the portion. The platano maduro was perfectly ripened and fried. The salad, avo, onions, etc was all visibly fresh and tasted great. The price was reasonable ($28) for this meal but given the portion that I received I think the price is excellent. There is enough food to share between a parent and child and potentially between two adults as well. Lots of meat, rice, beans, veg, etc. Additionally, the staff was friendly and so helpful. I am really pleased with the freshness and portion that is hard to find in restaurants nowadays. I will definitely be making this...
