Broast Chicken and Waffles — Restaurant in Mississauga

As a fried chicken connoisseur, I have tried many fried chicken establishments across the globe (not really though but at least a bunch around Toronto). Through the expertise I have developed, I am able to identify a great fried chicken burger. A burger that sets itself apart from all others. A burger that defies the boundaries of bland/normal/boring burgers. A burger that redefines burgerhood.

You may wonder what this coveted burger is? A great fried chicken sandwich requires many things. It requires the right balance of ingredients. The right level crispiness and tenderness. A great fried chicken burger is made fresh. With special care and attention. A great fried chicken burger takes you to a place where no other burger dare venture. A great fried chicken burger brings you to a place of culinary supremacy.

Having visited this restaurant I realize that sometimes appearances are deceiving. As I entered the restaurant (located in a random dingy plaza), I expected average. An independent restaurant with a very competitively priced burger ($4.25 for their Monday Burger deal) - I expected them to cut corners, take shortcuts and make decisions at the expense of my burger experience. How else is an independent restaurant to compete against the goliaths of fried chicken?

However, the experience. blew. my. mind. The burger was big. The burger was fresh. The burger was tender. The burger was crispy. The burger was everything I dreamed of and everything I did not expect. It was amazing! (although a little too spicy - but still amazing!) They took longer than typical fast food restaurants to make the burger (around 10 minutes). Given they don't have the volume of typical fast food restaurants, the wait seemed reasonable unless I wanted old chicken. It was reasonable of them to require some time to craft their culinary masterpiece.

Based on my mastery as a fried chicken burger professional - I highly recommend anyone reading to visit this place! I will definitely revisit and try other items...

11 26 2022: Back and ordered two chicken burgers with cheese. Also ordered macaroni salad and onion rings. So good and reasonably priced! Added more pictures and as you can see, quality is consistent in presentation. Can acknowledge that taste is great!

First time here and likely won't be my last. Place looks great and overall clean. The staff was friendly and I came in craving for a burger. I got one with cheese and one without it. Very filling and fresh. I got both of them mild, but I think their a bit too mild I'd say; I could get a solid flavour from the sauce on the burger. Overall tasty and quite alot of volume of chicken tomato and lettuce. Well worth it! Pricing is good too. The potato wedges were a homerun for me. Very tasty crispy and hot; comes with this garlic dip I believe. Great combination and It was tasty. The coselaw was okay again on the mild end and not much flavor. More like a salad taste than your traditional coselaw that comes mixed with mayo or signature sauce. Overall the food was great and I enjoyed it!...

Being the only location, yes it does offer some good fast food choices like waffle chicken. Now the customer service is the most disgusting you will ever experience at this place. If you want to experiment what ordering fast food in a run down 3rd world country in, welcome to Broast Inn. I must say these people are utterly rude & disrespectful towards customers. The owner thinks he actually own customers. The wait time they take to process your order is a too long. I requested the front lady to ensure sauces in my 2 combo deals, I only discovered 2 packets of ketchups, missing hot sauce & garlic sauce. Upon other visits, I noticed the staff always in some arguments with other customers. They have a bigoted attitude towards Asians & esp. Indians. The dine in desks are always dirty & unclean. After eating their chicken, you are bound to get upset stomach & go in & out of the washrolm for multiple visits. They like to embarrass people. Please, do yourself a favor, stay hungry & avoid this place at all costs. Don't step in this substandard...
