Las Delicias — Restaurant in Mississauga

I have to have lunch today in these restaurant in Toronto, Parking here it's really hard because oldest places are very limited and not always you will find werd to leave your car so I have wait a few minutes before going inside to the restaurant. It was in a Sunday and the little place was packed so I had to the one high chair close to the window, Very promptly the waitress came to me with a menu and I ordered two empanadas to start. I tried to order some items on the menu and they were not available and, I ended ordering a Bandeja Paisa, It was very tasty but didn't have Abocado, the chicharron was very thin and greasy, In general it was good for the price. I definitely will come back these week and give another chance to the Sobrebarriga guisada. By the way the empanadas were great same...

My mouth is watering just writing the review ! I cannot even say how great this restaurant is! I mean it’s not the greatest restaurant because of its looks but the food and the hospitality will blow your mind away! Prices are amazing and the portion size ........... HOLY CRAPPPPPPP! You have to get a to go box because it’s so much food ! I am not even exaggerating! I leave here feeling like I just went to Colombia. The food tastes authentic and the quality is amazing. I give the chefs a round of applause for the good tasting food and for the owner who gives his/her customers such good portions! You definitely don’t get these types of portions anywhere else! I would give this restaurant a billion stars if I could !!!!!! I will keep returning as long as you are...

We ordered 2 empanadas: beef (very little meat) and chicken (excellent especially with the sauce), sobre barriga (a home run and a must try!) and bandeja paisa (based on Google reviews but the chicharron was overcooked, the beef was overcooked and bland and I didn't like the sausage). The fellow who seemed to be in charge suggested 2 juices: lulo and blueberry. Both were excellent but I liked the lulo better.

We ordered 1 generously sized portion of flan which was a bit too dense for my liking.

Embarrassingly, we stayed too long. The restaurant closed at 6:30 pm and we left after 7. The staff hospitably put up with our stupidity but I hope they reconsider their operating hours, especially on...
