I remember eons ago when bubble tea was a powdery mix of sugar, food colouring, some tea perhaps, and more sugar. Did I say sugar? The past few years, we've had a huge influx of Taiwanese, Chinese, and other super popular Bubble Tea Brands from Asia and I'm glad for it! You're able to customize the level of sugar and ice with far more inventive add ins .. best of all, it actually taste like real brewed tea.
We came late one Saturday thinking it wouldnt be so bad ... daaaaaang. So this is where all the Asian high school seniors hang out. Ok, I'm already sensing the Mean Girl vibe ... I guess I'm wearing the wrong pink. All the tables were taken (and there's not too many to start) and the line is about 3/4 the length of the store. It .. is... popular.
The great thing is the service is on point and moves the line quickly. Even though we saw the big line, the ordering here is very efficient with a dedicated staff getting the order and 3 people behind the counter are constantly making the drinks. I would say it only took us a little over 7 minutes to get to the front.
Like I mentioned, ordering here is easy... it helps to know what you like ahead of time and the big monitors above the ordering station help show you the most popular ones in addition to the other drinks. I would say that this isnt your typical "blueberry milk boba tea" but more closer to the authentic boba tea in Asia. Richer in tea flavour and creamier in texture ... these are far more enjoyable. Best part was that I dialed down the sugar content so i could blink later on and not crash heavily from the sugar.
2 Ladies (aka. Coco black tea with pudding and pearl) - With 50% sugar and no ice, I found this hitting the spot on a warm evening. Its quite good in flavour as the 50% sugar let more of the tea flavour come out. The pudding and pearl gives it a bit more sugar so having it lower wasn't an issue. The pearls were perfect... chewy but not needing to invest in another set of molars. As someone mentioned, perfect for the inner child to use them blow dart style. 4/5
Coconut Coco black tea with pearls - Using the same milk tea as the 2 ladies, I liked this one too... even though the sugar was dialed down to 30%, I found it to be a bit sweeter than mine because the coconut jelly is quite already sweet. I did like how it added a nice coconut flavour. 4/5
If you're looking for the real Boba tea, definitely come try it out but dont expect to stay here ... it's quite busy and there's barely any tables available but it is worth the tiny wait to get the real deal over here in...

I added in one more star for the good customer service. They explained to me that the avocado pudding milk has blended pudding inside already. so i apologize for that part. But i do hope my review is sill constructive for the other issues i mentioned.
Old review:
This place offers standard coco beverages. I donāt care whatās inside, I like bbt so Iāll keep drinking it. However, this place has messed up my order twice in 2 months.
Once I ordered original milk tea with pudding and coconut jelly, then there was absolutely no pudding inside and even with the 30% sugar option, the coconut jelly made it unbearably sweet to drink.
The second time I ordered original milk tea with pudding and grass jelly inside with 0% sugar. Guess what, it was as sweet as the full sugar if not more. So Iām not sure if they forgot the 0% sugar or the pudding and grass jelly just made it that way. Nonetheless, they are expected to listen carefully to the customersā orders. Maybe make the sugar options gear towards the final overall taste of the drink with all the toppings inside, instead of just the liquid part.
Whilst I was struggling to drink my āthis is so sweet, I would rather eat raw sugar caneā milk tea, my bf ordered the avocado drink with pudding, for the āreal fruitā claim. It was quite tasty, exactly what u think it would taste like (cold avocado + creamer). But THERE IS NO PUDDING INSIDE! AGAIN! Whatās with that!?
Ok ok, the difference of a dollar or so worth of pudding might not break the bank, but business is business, you should be serious about it. I have been drinking coco since Obama became president (probably gained a lot of weight from this too lmao), and have always been a loyal customer. But this is unacceptable. This review is meant to be purely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt get me wrong. Drinks are good. I love the pudding milk tea. This is the third time I ordered through Skip The Dish. Very convenient. But every time I order, thereās always something wrong with the order. Wrong drink, missing add-on toppings, missing order. My worst experience is the missing drink. I received our 7/8 drinks on November 25th. We called the store to let them know that there was a missing drink. The lady said that they messed up the punching in of the orders. She offered to send us the misisng drink with another free drink right away to compensate. We gladly accepted and waited for half an hour. We followed up and it turns out... no drink is coming our way! The lady introduced herself as the manager (Lisa) and said that they cannot do anything about it because we have to order again so the delivery service will come back to deliver. Does this even make sense? Why should we order again for a drink that has been paid for? Vicinity points is offered instead. What would i do with the vicinity points when all 7 of us are drinking while the 8th person is watching us drink our refreshing drinks? This is sad... very sad... š¢š¢š¢š¢ This is very bad customer service. My friend is upset because we cannot enjoy our drinks together. My friend is more upset because the promise to deliver is just a bluff. Next time, if you say something that youāll do, please do it. So customers wonāt be upset...
