Reply to Restaurant: The problem is with the quality of the food. It is $18 for 1/2lb of Brisket and $35 for a lb. It did not have any seasoning, it was hard, bland, we had to dump extra sauce on it to make it edible and it was cold. I have no reason to lie about my experience. I just don't want other people to have the same experience.
Original Review:
The Food: Worst brisket you will ever have. It was hard, like rubber. It's offensive how poorly cooked it was. They claimed it was cooked for 13 hours. Absolutely not, felt like it never touched the smoker. It was oven cooked and then they microwaved it before serving it to us. Paid $20 for it.
Experience:
Came to this location because the Brampton location person said it was Halal.
Drove 30 minutes and when we arrive, they say that their main item, the Brisket, is not Halal.
We asked them to carefully make sure the beef absolutely does not touch the pork.
The Place: They don't have chairs, it's all stools.
Conclusion: This place is not suitable as a BBQ place and I fear the reviews are not real...
Read moreService was extremely friendly and welcoming We ordered Mac n cheese with shrimp and 4pc tenders with a side Mac and cheese and coleslaw however when I got home and opened my food it turned out they didn’t put the correct items we were missing a plain Mac. The chicken and the fries we didn’t order were really oilythe shrimp tasted absolutely bland. the Mac is just decent and the only thing that actually stole the show was the side order of coleslaw. Unfortunately this place was not the best there is definitely a lot of room for improvement food wise . 5/10 and the 5 was just for the outstanding service and coleslaw it was unfortunate that majority of the food went to waste cuz of the grease no cap Side note: based on the owners replies to some of his customers reviews it seems like they see no problem with the food but they definitely need a reality...
Read moreAfter visiting Nashville recently, the craving for brisket has been high. My first bbq since the trip was at Food Fight. They did not disappoint. The pulled pork and brisket were amazing. The house bbq sauce is exactly what you want to smother your meat with. (No diddy) the honey corn bread was a perfect side. And an underrated treat were the exotic sodas. The one critique I would have would be with the coleslaw. It’s very good but maybe they opted to go with a thicker cut of the cabbage for their brisket sandwich to give a better bite..?🤷🏽♂️As opposed to finely shredding it. It’s still good but I had to find something to nit pick at. The staff were very pleasant and kind. The owner greeted us and was very informative and kind as well. Will definitely be back in the near future. There’s still plenty left to try...
