La Diperie Port Credit — Restaurant in Mississauga

First time here...came with my family so we ordered a few different ice cream options.

The people running the place were incredibly generous with how much ice cream they gave us. Excellent service and care, always love that. When we walked in one of the staff were making an uber order for about a dozen donuts. We watched her dip the donuts and add sprinkles, they looked amazing. If someone was ordering that many on a Sunday night they have to be good lol.

We ordered the Ferrera Rocher creation, a super kids ice cream (tasted like those rocket popsicles), a vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with Kit Kat bites. I ordered two scoops (mint choc chip and cookies 'n cream) in a cup and my man hooked it up with massive scoops. I got excited and nervous at the same time when I saw how much he was giving me. Way more than what Baskin Robins gives. I topped my ice cream with Red Velvet chocolate sauce and topped it with kit kat bites too. It tasted just as good as it looked. Hands down the best ice cream I've had in a long long time.

Its too bad they aren't closer to the center of Port Credit where all the action is. They would do very very well with all the tourists. Mind you it's not a far walk to this place from there BUT it's just outside the core over the bridge...details....i know...

My both kids Bought today milkshake, donuts and factory cheese cake and came home to find long hair inside the the piece of cake.

Called the owner and explained to him that there is hair inside cake and we couldn’t obviously eat it and we put in the garbage . Owner instead of offering piece of cake for free next time , didn’t even offer it . Simply unacceptable. He is responsible for what he is selling in his place and it’s his responsibility to make sure that if he uses another company to make cakes , that it’s well done.

Not very smart move on his part not offering Simply another small piece of cake , he will be loosing 3 customers after this!!!!

Too bad when owner thinks so primitively !

So I have send 2 emails to the email that owner puts under email and he never gotten back to me. What a horrible experience with this owner and franchise! I was hoping that I will be contacted by him after I have send 2 emails but he decided to simply ignore my emails!!!! O well , I will be contacting Head Office!

This is for all the future customers , be aware that every time you purchase anything in this place you be eating hair and who knows what else 🥴😩Maybe mouse or...

First time trying La Diperie. I'd like to start off by saying, what a confusing experience. The concept is cool but there are way too many options. There's cakes, cheesecakes, donuts, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cake hard ice cream and soft serve.

....oh wait you can dress it all up with 30+ toppings. Including your cheesecakes and ice creams....

I ordered an ice cream sandwich with chocolate dip and Oreo. My goodness I thought it was going to be smaller than it actually ended up being. The cookies tasted stale and it was super difficult to eat. Everything was crumbling everywhere. I didn't end up finishing it at all. My husband had soft serve in a cup with pistachio and hazelnut. Even his was dropping and making a mess everywhere. He didn't overly enjoy it either.

When it came to the appearance of the location, the garage door and windows were very dirty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while.

The staff was super friendly which was great.

I provided 3 stars based on an overall experience, I think there is def room for improvement here. For now, I will opt away from this ice...
