The Old Stable Pub — Restaurant in Mississauga

Came here a few weekends ago for a friend's birthday as he had reserved the restaurant for an event. Unbeknownst to us it was not closed for the party although there was a clear sign on the door because their regulars came in. Now our group is very accommodating and would not have been miffed about it until they started being aggressive unwelcoming and entitled. A woman told my husband to get out of his barstool and he thought she just wanted the actual stool to bring to her table however she sat down right in his spot at the bar as if she owned the spot. She didn't speak any English and the bartenders tried to rectify the situation but the whole thing was rude and disrespectful. On top of that one of the male regulars was being aggressive with all the girls in our party, making comments and licking his lips at some of us. When my friends father had finally had enough when he made comments and put his arms around his wife, this man started a fight.

Not only that but we did not get an itemized bill, and honestly I feel like they charged an obscene amount. My bill for 2 people was over 500 just for drinks. That just doesn't happen im...

This was the worst service experience I ever had (July 31). To start we ordered a beer and hot water. After 10 minutes a beer and cold water appeared. We then ordered 2 dinners. After 50 minutes the dinner was delivered. No apology for the wait and no explanation. The dinner was obviously micro waved. The roles were frozen on the inside. When the waitress was made aware of that she took the roles and microwaved then and brought them back; again with no apology or explanation. At the end of the evening did not tip the waitress and informed that the service was terrible. She said she did the best she could and was alone. The old stable is a nice little date spot, or a quite place during the day, which is nice it's right beside the lake.

Personally I really liked the patio, it's a quaint little section.

I did also want to mention that once it hits 6,7pm that's when it really comes alive. They have a small menu, good selection for drinks, probably some of the tastiest peroges in town.

Their live music is great, they play a lot of classic rock, and much much more!

Overall, great place to hang out and enjoy music!

Definitely check it out, if not for the music, then for the peroges!
