La Diperie Streetsville — Restaurant in Mississauga

Cute little spot in Streetsville! So glad to have visited this and provides an alternative to Murphy's Ice Cream. There are so many options from hard ice cream, soft serve ice cream, doughnuts and cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory too. All can be dipped in the various flavours and then topped with even more choices of toppings. It was a little overwhelming because I've never been to this chain before and there was so much to choose from during every process (dessert, dipping and topping). The owners are super nice and friendly and explained everything to us and how it works as well as made recommendations. The first time I had the peanut butter and jelly doughnut and the cotton candy doughnut. Both were good but cotton candy was better. The second time (yes, I went twice in less than 1 week lol) I had the soft serve dipped in pistachio and topped with pistachios. I love pistachio so this was heaven for me. I would recommend eating it quickly because soft serve melts super fast. The place will be open year round and accepts credit or debit which is a bonus because Murphy's is cash only in the summer. The decor was an insta worthy turquoise and felt very warm and welcoming. There was no wait both times as I go in the afternoon. The price is fairly reasonable compared to other ice cream spots. I will definitely be back and looking forward to trying more...

Finally a ice cream parlor that can give Murphy's Ice Cream Shop, just steps away, a run for it's money. As an ice cream shop, I wouldn't take anything away from Murphy's. Still a go to place. But nice to have more options in the neighborhood with La Diperie.

This spot is cute, tastefully decorated and compact. A little to compact. On busy days there a huge line ups. Due to the fact of covid-19 restrictions and also not enough employees to handle the volume of customers. Hopefully the owner can get the flow on point soon.

No complaints about customer service here. Very friendly and helpful. By my assumption, looks like a family runned business.

You definitely have many options here to choose from. From dips to sprinkles to cheesecakes. A boutiquie affair of the taste buds.

La Diperie is a bit more on the pricer side but regardless, definitely a try it at least once place. Great news, they take all forms of payment! That's the one major downside of Murphy's Ice Cream Shop, they only take cash.
