I came in first in line to order and a young sales associate was helping us out when all of a sudden the other sale associate came in to give the order to the other person insisting that he ordered first. Disappointing as I mentioned I came in first and that the other customer came in after me and just left to check something. The sales associate didn’t even acknowledge that I came in first giving the item to the guy she is serving just because she said so. She didn’t even apologize - the other saleslady is the one who apologized because she knows we were there before the other customer came.
To answer the response: I placed my order first pointing to the item and the other associate asked the other customer, who was at that time at my side, what he wanted. I even said to the associate helping us that that is all because I was waiting for her to pack my items already even before the other customer ordered. The other associate grabbed the item and because the other sales associate helping us was shorter in height so she had to walk around the stall to be able to get it. You may review the camera if you wish to see who came in first. And as I said, the other sales associate apologized but she’s not the one at fault. Very rude answer as well from a customer...
Read more'I stand by my product' - how do you make sense of this remark by the owner when the $15 banana cake I bought yesterday had mold. Is this arrogance or complete disregard of your customer's feedback or is it that $15 is more important than the reputation of your bakery? I have been visiting this bakery for last 8 years and always told my friends that this was my 'favourite bakery'. I am not sure if there was a hint of racialism in their treatment of us as 'non Italian' customers. Would they do the same to an Italian customer? Are they not worried about losing other customers other than Italians? You can see that I am shocked at how owners can completely disregard the customer feedback in this age of slow economy when the business owners need to cling on to their loyal customers? Anyways, my advice to everyone who is thinking about buying their products - either go to their shop, thoroughly check what you are buying OR don't buy because if you order a delivery and it is MOLDY they would 'stand by their product' and not even listen to your complain leave aside refunding - unless you are Italian. I am done with Lazio - please suggest another...
Read moreWonderful little bakery, busy on the weekends so heads up! Great selection and variety, helpful staff, delicious food that's always fresh.. cannot recommend them enough (especially the gelato when it's available)
Their hot table has some of THE BEST pasta-- the cheese ravioli is so good, you don't miss the meat!
If you want fresh pastries, I highly suggest to come here, and call ahead if you're looking for certain items or want large orders... I'm a fan of cannolis 💜
They also have a coffee/espresso bar that's brewed fresh daily/regularly, the place always smells delightful-- but it's a bakery, it always smells great (unless you don't like the smell of fresh bread... And if you don't why are you there???)
I bought Pretzel Bagels yesterday, and there's only one left today 🙃 they rarely last...
