I live nearby and was excited when this location opened as it gave me quick access to a new dinner option. I have since visited 3 times and I've been left disappointed each time. This is my experience on each visit. I will not be returning.

1. I visited the location and ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich combos. While waiting for my order I noticed a couple which had already ordered waiting by the register for their food. They were not asked to relocate and the cashier instead took the orders of other customers around them. I also noticed 2 customers walk behind the counter to see the sauces on offer. They were touching and picking up sauces, and with covid rampant at the time it left me quite uncomfortable. My order took about 30 minutes to be fulfilled and I noticed a couple customers with similar orders who ordered after me, get theirs before I did. The sandwiches were okay but way spicier than I expected, to the point where all I could taste was the spice. I am used to spicy food but I could not finish the entire thing.

2. I visited a second time, 30 minutes before their closing time and tried to order a beef burger. I was told that beef burgers cannot be ordered as closing time was near. I left without placing an order.

3. I returned to try the beef burger that I didn't get to have on my previous visit. When I entered there were customers waiting on orders again blocking the register (the store is sizeable, so I don't understand the reason). They eventually moved aside to allow me access to place my order. While in mid order of my burger combo, another customer walks to the register and stands alongside me and proceeds to place her order. The cashier stops my order and immediately takes hers. Surprised, I step aside to allow that customer to pay for their order. I left shortly after without placing an order. The cashier didn't seem...

This is a bit of a tough review to write, I wanted so much to love this chicken. The staff is very nice and since it's a local place, I wanted to be able to rave about the quality of the food.

Unfortunately, I can't. This is my second or third time eating here, the first couple times, it had just opened and the quality was quite good. After this time, I don't think I'll go back.

I ordered a 4 piece chicken and fries with 2 biscuits on the side.

The biscuits were the first disappointment. I couldn't eat them. The flavour was there but I could barely bite them. They were very rubbery in the middle and clearly had been reheated a few times. I didn't eat them.

Fries were quite good. I thoroughly enjoyed those.

The chicken. The chicken had been refried. It was over cooked on the outside, very dry and the outside was hotter than the inside. A clear indication it had been sitting for awhile and they threw it back in the fryer.

The price was competitive and the service was good but the food quality was very poor overall. Flavour wise, they could compete against Popeye but for freshness, I'd have to say they rank below grocery store fried chicken.

My advice to management would be to always make it fresh. Even if I have to wait 15 minutes, I would rather do that and know you care about quality than to get something I can't eat.

Cleanliness. The store seemed clean for the most part, although the tables right near the door were messy with food crumbs and what I assumed at the time was a lunch rush. (I went in at 12:30 pm on a Friday)
