average food as to be expected. subpar service. was told to scan gift card (as opposed to swiping it) and was informed card's not valid. good thing i kept the transaction record from a previous visit at another store and showed the staff it reflected two different account numbers. when scanned, it had the activation bar code instead of the gift card's account information. eventually, after a couple of swipes, it went through. when the orders came, had to ask for napkins (counted four thin ones for an order of a large pizza and a 10-piece box of wings. talk about cost-cutting measures! sure, they had what resembled a condiment section by the edge of the counter that had a couple containers of pepper flakes that were close to empty, two bottles of ketchup of which one was completely empty, a straw holder that had about five pieces in it, and a napkin dispenser that had, you guessed it, NOTHING. all inexcusable because we were the only dine-in customers. most of the walk ins thely had were there to retrieve their packages from amazon as they had a pick-up location inside the store.
the worst one was being lied to. wanted to use the washroom and it's one of those that had them 'for customers use only.' having just paid for our food, pretty disappointed when she feigned looking for the key and then ended up saying the men's room was 'under maintenance.' upon finishing our meal, my wife went to use the women's washroom and was promptly given the key with a side comment, 'only the women's washroom is working.' during the course of our meal, the crew member went to the lobby to arrange some chairs, went inside the washroom area, and if it were truly under maintenance, should have posted a sign saying so. again, if it truly is broken, at least extend the courtesy of having the available washroom used by everyone, all inclusive. after all, it's not just used for doing one or two but, for washing hands, especially that pizza is a finger food, and no separate wash area is available. while not a fan of unisex toilets, the sense that's not common should still prevail in...
Read moreI had the worst pizza in my life yesterday
My son went to Pizza Pizza here around 2pm yesterday.
We bought the Extra large ,TROPICAL HAWAIIAN ,And PEPPERONI, A few son's friends and family ate the pizza and
When I returned from work, I ate 2 pieces as well. After about 2 hours, vomiting and diarrhea appeared.
After more than 2 hours of vomiting and diarrhea, I concluded that there was a problem with the pizza and checked the remaining pizza.
Insect eggs...Fly eggs were piled up there...Perhaps rotten Bacon crumble material was distributed and made.
My family complained about this to the Pizza Pizza customer service center, but nothing came to a conclusion after more than an hour of talking. It was a reaction in the sense that it was the responsibility of the store.
My family visited the store around 9:20 pm and complained by giving them the leftover pizza, but the absurd response was "We ate most of the pizza, so we can't exchange pizza.”After hearing this news, I had diarrhea and vomiting at home, and I wanted to visit there again with my family and meet the owner, but he was not there, and the manager and some staff's chilly irresponsible response was ""I don't know..I don't want to..Do it yourself"" They were so angry at the reaction that they were still dealing with customers without a mask or gloves, kneading pizza toppings with their bare hands and spitting. I will tackle this serious issue with the CFIA.Mississauga public health center.peel public health center. What my family wanted was their responsible answer and awareness of the seriousness of the problem. But before we said anything, they treated us like beggars trying to get another pizza.I was quite angry about the way they handled this situation. We don't need a slice of pizza. We are complaining and speaking up for other customers that might have the same problem as us in the near future. I want to inform you that this...
Read moreI recently dined at "Pizza Pizza," and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. It's rare for me to give such a negative review, but there were several aspects of this restaurant that fell short of even basic expectations.
Let's start with the most important aspect: the food. The pizza at Pizza Pizza was a major disappointment. The taste was, to put it frankly, horrible. The crust was overly doughy and lacked that satisfying crispness, and the toppings were far from fresh. It seemed as though they had been sitting around for a while. The overall flavor was bland, and it's difficult to understand how a place with "pizza" in its name could serve such lackluster pies. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store.
The disappointment didn't end with the food; the staff members at Pizza Pizza were equally disappointing. They were not only unprofessional but also outright rude and disrespectful. It was as if they had no interest in providing a positive dining experience. Even a simple request seemed like an inconvenience to them. This kind of service is unacceptable and can truly sour an entire meal.
Adding to the woes, the prices at Pizza Pizza are exorbitant for the quality of food they offer. For the amount of money spent here, one would expect a much higher standard of pizza and service. It's disheartening to pay so much for what can only be described as subpar food and service.
In summary, my visit to Pizza Pizza was a letdown in every aspect. The taste of the pizza was dismal, the staff members were rude and unprofessional, and the prices were far too high for the quality provided. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a better pizza experience. There are countless other pizzerias that offer far superior options in terms of taste, service, and value for your money. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere for...
