I have been going to this bar for over ten years. And ever since the new owners took over this place has gone down hill with their service. I am absolutely disgusted at the owner of this bar. A few month ago I came in and he was sitting at table where the pool table used to be. I had gone up to him and said thanks, I love this place I've been coming here for years. This man looked at Me in disgusted and told me to stop talking to him and go away, leave him alone. He also ended up yelling at other patrons in the bar.
The girls who work there have to pool their tips and share with everyone, including management and owner.
While I was there yesterday I asked the girl bartending for a jack Daniel's neat. She asked twice if I want ice (clearly isn't trained in bar) I said no and she gave me the alcohol in a shot glass, rather than a rocks glass. Then I asked for a shot of Tequila Jose gold and she didn't know what I was talking about... looking around trying to figure out what I was asking for. THEN I asked for a rum and coke and she tried to give me Jack Daniel's which is WHISKEY.
I tried to have a conversation with her and she clearly doesn't understand English very well. If you're going to have people in a customer service role, train them properly so a customer and get what they ask for promptly and effectively. And being a bartender you should know how to speak to people.
This owner straight up SUCKS.
The only saving grace for this place is the one bartender Ru who works there. She is literally keeping this place a float.
I'm surprised this place is even still open it is so dead all the time. Was so much better ten years ago. Head office should really be looking into how their brand is being represented.
After closing time I went the parking lot and was just standing chatting with three other people. The girl confronted me saying I took a drink outside and was arguing with me. Her and the guy who works in the kitchen were acusing me and saying the owner is going to fire them and they will look at the cameras.
Just some words of advice going up to people after the bar has been closed for an hour and threating someone for taking a drink may not always end in a good way.
All in all, this place only sucks because of the inexperienced staff and new owner. Learn how to treat your customers better!!!!! 0 stars of...
Read moreI ordered chicken tenders over the phone today for pickup and unfortunately had a frustrating experience with the customer service. This was my first time ordering from WildWing, and there was a clear miscommunication that could’ve been avoided with better clarity on their end.
When I was asked what flavor I wanted, I said plain. The lady taking my order seemed confused so I then clarified with “plain mild” because I didn’t want anything spicy. (Thinking along the lines of Popeyes who offer various dry seasonings, mild, spicy ect.) I also asked for plum sauce on the side, which should have been another hint that I didn’t want the tenders tossed in anything.
When I picked up the order and opened it in the car, I noticed a strong smell and realized the tenders were completely covered in a sauce — something like mild buffalo. I went back inside to let them know they got my order wrong, but instead of understanding and correcting the issue calmly, I was met with resistance and arguing from the server, blaming me constantly saying “you told me mild” after saying “plain, mild”. The staff member who took my order insisted I only said “mild” — and instead of trying to understand the confusion, she just kept arguing with me. I explained again that I had said "plain" first, and only said "mild" in reference to spice level, not a sauced wing.
As someone ordering for the first time, I think it’s on the staff to explain clearly what the options mean — especially if “mild” refers specifically to a sauce and not the seasoning level.
They did remake the order correctly, which I appreciated — but the arguing, and the weird stare from (what I assume was) the owner really left me with a bad feeling. I was under a time crunch and the whole thing felt unnecessarily stressful.
The food itself was good once corrected, but the customer service needs work. Staff should aim to communicate more clearly, especially with new customers, and approach complaints with professionalism rather than defensiveness. A little patience and understanding go a long way in customer service — and I hope this is something they improve on...
Read moreThis is the first time I've actually given under 3 stars. My friend and I decided to get some wings and beer for the night, and we walked into the wild wings. Upon entering, no one was there to greet us, which would be fine if it's busy but there seemed to be less than three tables occupied. Then the waitress took us to the table, asked us if she could get us anything before we even took our seats. I asked her what kind of beer they have, and it took her a while to get three names of Canadian, Coors Light and Heineken, only to realize that there were at least five more options. After we placed the order for the beer, we decided on the food and was more than anxious to order, only to wait for another 10 minutes before the waitress came back. After we placed our order, the beer came at least fifteen minutes into the waiting which is already unacceptable, from how empty the place was. The food came after another fifteen minutes, which was 30 minute of waiting from the initial entrance. The food was pretty good I must admit, as we enjoyed it very much while watching a game of baseball. The waitress never came back to assist us in anything, for water, additional order or etc. Then we decided to order another pound and it took another fifteen minute to get a waitress' attention, who was not assigned to our table. She went away to get our assigned waitress and it was another ten minute that she couldn't locate her and decided to serve us in her place. Koodos for her, as it looks like the tips are going according to the assigned section (not shared) but she decided to provide us serve anyways.
The food is very good, service is beyond terrible. Never been served this badly, I really wonder how this waitress keeps her job. First time ever think of not leaving any tip, as I work in this industry for years and I know that majority of the income comes from tip. Left 10% which is also the first time ever leaving less than 15% anywhere. If you gotta go out, then yeah go ahead but if you can, just order pick-up and...
