i wish i could give negative stars honestly. i came in yesterday with two of my friends (we each got combos and spent around 20, not much but considering the malicious customer service and the fact that we got three slices of pizza total it does seem like a complete waste of my money in hindsight).
i ordered a slice of pizza that came with a drink and sauce. the cashier put down the wrong sauce for my sisters order and didn’t acknowledge my remark that i wanted dill sauce and my sister hadn’t said what she wanted. the result of this was that my sister didn’t get her sauce recorded correctly and received her sauce later on.
what is on the receipt should be what’s in my hands for legal purposes, you should not be in such a rush (with no line up behind me, mind you) that you leave opportunity to overcharge customer or miss part of their order.
ANU served me twice that night. i work currently in fastfood and know the standard government issued procedures for these things, franchise differences aside.
my main concern was that MY PIZZA WAS RAW. i ordered a slice of mushroom, bacon and pepperoni. to be clear for the folks at home, this is a reoccurring issue with this location and had been echoed in several of their 1star reviews.
my pizza took so long that by the time i had received it i had almost finished my drink, my friends and i walked out to find a place to sit outside and eat as the inside of this restaurant is so cramped and tiny one singular group was enough to make it so that no one else could sit and enjoy their food. once outside and eating i i noticed my cheese was only partially melted and the pizza couldn’t be picked up in one slice, it broke horizontally. the bottom was cooked partially as well and the kicker was that the middle of my pizza was completely raw. the dough was white and stretchy. i will admit i had eaten a quarter of my slice before i decided that the taste and texture was so unbearable to be standard. it was at that point that i realized that it was raw.
we walked back to the restaurant and i brought this miss ANU’S attention and she completely tried to disregard my concern and assure me that the pizza was cooked. I WAS LITERALLY STRETCHING THE DOUGH BEFORE HER EYES AND COMPARING IT TO THE UNMELTED CHEESE. ANU was stubborn and rude to me me telling me “well i didn’t cook the pizza”. as part of a team that is an unacceptable answer to a customer who you just served raw food. she would not issue me a refund with a receipt and any kind of paper trail or case number i could take to customer service. i asked several times to be connected to someone that could help me as ANU was very firm about the fact that i was not going to get anywhere with my concerns. i have been coming to this location for YEARS. my family used to order from them weekly before we moved. i was back in the area for the day and recommend the place to my girls. i don’t know if management had changed or what because the difference from the friday night pizzas we used to get and the mush i was told was their standard was NOT it.
to ANU, slow down and be kind to people? try to be accommodating and listen to the people that are talking to you, chances are they’ll treat you exactly how you deserve.
to PIZZA PIZZA work on your training and make sure that you are serving people food that actually taste good and won’t make them sick! also a shift manager should be present on the floor at all times for exactly this reason.
to POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS don’t listen to the good reviews at a place that has bad reviews that mention staff that have no regard for human decency and wellbeing. THEY HAVE A HISTORY OF BAD REVIEWS THAT EMPHASIZE THAT CUSTOMERS HAVE RECEIVED RAW FOOD REPEATEDLY.
this has been a case of this location going “we’ll talk to our staff!” and not doing it because my experience was from as recent as last night.
if you cannot fully cook dough (uncooked flour is a cause of salmonella travel btws) you do not deserve to charge people for your food.
i will definitely be contacting customer service and hopefully...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of this Pizza Pizza location for the past 3 years, visiting almost once or twice a month. I’ve always loved the pizza here—it's been my go-to place for a quick and satisfying bite.
However, I had a very disappointing experience today with the manager. It was only the manager in the evening (the guy wearing a mask) that has unfortunately changed how I feel about this location. I politely gave some feedback about the pizza not being up to the usual standard—something I’ve only done twice in all the years I’ve been coming. Shockingly, the manager told me I should try some other pizza place instead. When I asked if I wasn’t allowed to give feedback as a customer, he said no, because he believes the pizza he makes is always .
I was genuinely surprised and upset by this reaction. As someone who has supported this business regularly, I believe I have every right to offer respectful feedback—especially when I’m paying for the food. No place is perfect every time, and constructive feedback should be welcomed, not shut down.
This experience left a bitter taste, and for the first time in years, I don’t feel like returning to this location. It's disheartening when loyal customers are made to feel unwelcome just for...
Read morePlaced an order for the plant-based burgers yesterday; received a phone call that buns were not available and was requested to change my order by the Pizza Pizza staff. I explained that there were not too many other vegan options available to me. But after chatting, we agreed that instead of the burgers, the staff would send a medium vegan pizza (with vegan cheese), and a 20 pack of plant-based chicken bites (original order had requested 10 pack of plant-based chicken bites). I specified several times that I am vegan and cannot eat non-vegan items. In my order, I received a 20 pack of chicken wings, 1 medium pizza made with dairy-based cheese (non-vegan cheese) and 1 10 pack of plant-based chicken bites. When I called the Pizza Pizza location to explain and request re-sending of our order, they refused. First Pizza Pizza staff cited that they could not send a new order as they did not have staff available right now, and then they cited that they had sent us the correct order. Both of these explanations were simply not true. I am severely disappointed with the customer service provided to me in...
