Shelby's Legendary Shawarma — Restaurant in Mississauga

They seem to be very new and untrained. My friends’ order came out quickly but they gave me the wrong order, then when I went to the counter to tell them, they were very confused. Started arguing and blaming each other. Multiple people then came up to me to confirm the order, even though I gave them the receipt. Took maybe 20 minutes to get the food.

Taste wise it’s the same as the other Shelby’s, but service definitely needs to be improved. Also, they did a poor job of making the Saj bread, all 3 of our wraps had holes in the bread, causing major sauce leakage. I literally saw the bread making guy taking a sad Swiss cheese looking bread off of the bread oven and he’s like yeah this is fine. The table was a mess, the shawarma was dripping everywhere. I’ve never experienced this at the Scarborough Shelby’s.

We had to ask for napkins twice because they only gave us 2 napkins and 1 tray for 3 people, except all the shawarmas leaked, so now we’re frantically trying to mop up the sauce while 2 people share a tray.

After all this a guy decided it would be a great idea to come ask for a review. Here’s your review. Fix your service and wrap the shawarmas so they don’t leak. Give customers more napkins. Maybe don’t bicker in front of customers and swear at each other for messing...

I recently ordered the Shawarma Biryani and the legendary Shawarma Wrap, and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and the portion size was more than satisfying. But what truly made the experience memorable was the exceptional service provided by Mansi, the staff member on duty.

From the moment I stepped in, Mansi greeted me with a warm smile and a genuinely welcoming attitude. She ensured that my order was prepared just the way I wanted and personally checked on the food quality before handing it over. It’s rare to see someone so dedicated and passionate about customer service.

Her attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards were commendable. She was polite, attentive, and handled everything with a calm, cheerful demeanor, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

It’s people like Mansi who elevate a simple meal into a memorable visit. Her hospitality left a lasting impression, and I’ll definitely be returning—not just for the amazing food, but also for the excellent service. Hats off to her for setting a great example of what great customer service...

I ordered a falafel wrap here and it was completly a waste of money. awful taste. When I placed my order, the guy asked if I wanted regular or spicy garlic sauce. I went with spicy, but the wrap came almost dry, just a little bit of sauce (not enough). I did not taste any spicy garlic flavour as he claimed. The wrap itself felt like a rubbery texture. it was undercooked, hard, and almost impossible to chew and swallow. I barely ate any before I had to throw it away because it was stucking in my throat because i was unable to swallow it due to not chewing it properly. To make matters worse, I felt bloated even after eating a small bit, which made me question the quality of the food. On top of everything, it took 15 minutes for them to prepare this garbage wrap, wasting my entire break time. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back to this location.
