Unwelcoming and Rude Service

We had a really disappointing experience at this Starbucks. The staff member named Ducky was extremely rude—not only did we feel judged for simply ordering a drink, but when my wife needed to use the washroom, Ducky told us we had to make a purchase first, even though we were already planning to. It felt unnecessary and disrespectful. Starbucks is usually known for being a welcoming space, but this location did not reflect that at all. The staff here is amazing. Juliana is the manager and she is super helpful. I come in regularly and they always remember my order. The location is inside the Loblaws and right by the door when you go in. There is never a line and the service is fast. I’m a regular at this loblaws location as it is near my office and I happen to be assisted by this lovely and patient woman named Katie. She gets my order right every time and it’s always a pleasant experience. She’s quite amazing at conversing as well which makes my days better.
