I would honestly rate this location with 0 stars if Google permitted it. This location is truly THE worst Starbucks that I have ever visited on earth. Upon my last trip here, it took me nearly 40 minutes to go through the entire process of being in line, to collecting my drink and leaving the store. đ¤ 40 MINUTES!! There were 23 people in line at the time, only one cashier taking orders, and only one barista making drinks. I should note that clearly the barista did not take a proper Starbucks training course, because she took around 5 minutes to make ONE single drink. I myself worked in the food & beverage industry once upon a time, and if it took me 5 minutes to make a coffee back then, I would have been fired faster than I could blinkâŚ.just saying.
To make matters even worse, the nasty woman who loosely calls herself âthe managerâ of this store, didnât do a single thing to help ANY of the people in line waiting to place an order that day. She spent her entire time chit-chatting with some woman wearing an HMSHost shirt, and rearranging pictures of items in the bakery case, then every so often she would look up and glance at the people impatiently waiting in line. I would very much like to meet the person that put this âmanagerâ in charge, and seriously talk about their own questionable-professional abilities.
Starbucks Corporate seriously needs to address the problems here, because this has been an ongoing issue at this location for over 3 years now! Even during the time when the airport was experiencing lower traffic throughout the pandemic, the customer service at this location STILL did not improve. I have come to understand that it is merely a licensed store and not a franchised location (much like all of the Starbucks in Pearson), but this location in particular is located right outside of the international arrivals gates, and is one of the FIRST places that people can visit upon entering Canada. Is this really how Starbucks wants to be remembered in this country? As an incredibly over-priced store, with customer service so bad, that it makes finding an alternative illicit addiction aside from caffeine look good?!? STARBUCKS GET IT...

There was this person who was taking the orders. Her name started with âjit..â I guess. I bought a Americano and pack of Madelines for my kid who is returning in flight. I had some friends who joined me later.
She took the order but kept the receipt for others as well. When my friends came back I stood back in line with them to get coffee for them. After paying she just loudly said , you have not paid for that. You took madelines from here but why did you not pay for it. I told her, see I have the coffee I bought it from you just few mins back along with that I bought these Madelines. Then her attitude was so rude and said I did not remember you pay for that.
I said you did not even give me a receipt. Look at your table where you collected all the receipts and check for my name. She just mumbled and stared at me till I moved and was waiting in line for the delivery.
Then I turned back and I asked for the receipts for the order I placed for my friends saying she would forget and ask us to pay again.
Worst feeling to be questioned like that infront of everyone. Is it normal for them to hold on to the receipts? Also the quality of coffee( they do not follow any customer requests I.e. without simple syrup or anything) theyâll just mechanically prep and serve. The guy behind me (good lord was looking at her when prepping) asked her to redo the drink without syrup like said in the sticker.
Please request for receipts and make sure you get the correct order.

I got to the cashier and ordered 4 drinks, the cashier lady wasnât look like she likes the job she was doing. She got big sigh while taking order, not sure about the reason?! Her face showed that she was being annoyed for some reasons. I love strawberries acai with coconut milk and add extra scoop of dried strawberries. I literally ordered that almost everyday and I did order this drink at this location also. I got my drink and itâs very watery with 2 pieces of strawberry in it. I asked the barista lady if I can have extra strawberries since Iâd ordered it? All she said was âextra moneyâ. I understand I get charged for coconut milk, never get charged for few pieces of strawberry at any different locations. I wouldâve paid extra money for it if the barista was nice to me in the way how she said it instead of frowning at me! I mentioned to her again that I did order my drink with extra strawberries and they couldâve charged me at the beginning and gave it to me instead of arguing. She turned around and asked the cashier if I ordered extra strawberries. The cashier lady said NO. How funny is that! And somehow she changed her mind, came to me, grabbed the drink and gave me extra strawberries. And gave it back to me without saying a word, no apologize at all! Terrible services. Iâm very disappointed. I used to be always happy with Starbucks services, never had any complaints but this store location...
