TERRIBLE SERVICE I asked for the gluten free bread for the tuna sandwich and for the cheese to be toasted BEFORE putting the tuna on because I don’t care for hot tuna! LOL The girl seemed confused by this request, so maybe this was new for her?
The girl made the sub quickly, but I noticed the toppings were very sparse, did not look fresh and I was worried how long the tuna had been sitting there pre-made.
A middle aged South Asian woman, who did not smile or acknowledge me started to put the order through the machine and when it did not work the first time, she got visibly annoyed at me and asked why I made a sub if I had no money!!!
I told here there was money on the card because I had just bought some grocery a few doors down and she made a big fuss about it when I offered to pay with cash that I had in my car.
“You have to pay for the gluten free bread!” BEFORE you leave she goes & I was shocked. Never have I ever been insulted like that in a Subway restaurant before!!!
I calmly told her I would be right back and made a point of telling her I was NOT walking out with the sandwich without paying for it, but she ignored me and rolled her eyes.
Next, an Asian guy about 20 wanted to drop off a resume and asked if they were hiring and she tells him “NO!” angrily and did not offer to take his resume and keep on file. He seemed puzzled by her outburst too and ran from the store…
If you want quick, friendly service & CLEAN food…this store is a letdown.
PS: Even the washroom was out of order and females were directed to the MALE...

Today I placed an online order for a teriyaki foot long sub and 2 macadamia cookies at about 11:30pm for pickup at 4:45pm using a promotion coupon code. The order was cancelled by the store around 2:00pm stating that both the teriyaki sub and the macadamia cookies were not available.
This sounded unbelievable and suspicious to me so since I was passing by the store anyways, I dropped in to check, and both the teriyaki sub and macadamia cookies were available and in stock. The store staff also confirmed both items were available at the moment as well as all day today. I took pictures as well of the available items. When asked why the order was cancelled when the items are available, they stated that the store owner cancelled it earlier.
So the store owner had cancelled the order by lying that these items were not available so that he/she didn't have to honor the promo that I used. This is a very unethical and disgusting business practice, as well as horrible customer service.
Due to this I ended up losing out on the $20 off promo that I used for this order and was not able to use it again because it was a one time use, but I didn’t even use it initially in the first place because the store owner cancelled the order under false claims.

Read moreI am writing this review not to put bussiness down, but to improve their service. I love subway and since we moved, I am really excited to know that subway is at walking distance to us. There were two girls not at all passionate about their jobs. The way they made my sandwich, it dint even look appetizing to me anymore. She threw in chicken not even spread to whole sandwich ends were empty and middle was filled. Than they sent for toasting. After taking the sandwich out of toaster she asked me for topping but throwing in few she went to pack other orders. Now my sandwich is.cold, toast is gone. Anyways moving on, she rolled the sandwich as if she was packing garbage. That's when I exactly lost my appetite. Can't believe paid $15 for a service and food like this. I don't think I am going back. But definitely will give them another chance after three months to see if they improved. Want it to work as it's in neighborhood.
