The food that I've had here the few times was always great. I usually get the rare beef and rice noodle soup with spring rolls. The spring rolls are nothing to hit out of the ballpark, but the rice noodle soup is great.
Tonight I drove all the way from Scarborough to this restaurant because I had not been here for a while and I was craving for some good soup. The woman that regularly works there that is between the age of 40 to 50 years old is a really great individual with great customer service skills.
I got served today by a younger girl and when I asked her if you guys provide a plastic straw and if I can have a glass full of ice she just didn't look too happy. She said something but it wasn't loud enough for me to hear. And throughout. She did not even smile once or follow up and ask me how my food was. I normally get the soup with no onions and I forgot to ask for it because I was just distracted by the disappointing look on that young server's face after I had asked her those few questions.
I thought about doing takeout going forward and just taking it home but why will I drive for 45 minutes to have this for takeout? Wanted just completely left a bad taste of my mouth with this whole experience. It is a shame, but I will just go to my other favorite soup place Pho 88 in Scarborough. I hope you guys all have a better experience with that young girl. Guess she just didn't like my energy for whatever reason.
I clicked on moderate noise. No fault of the restaurant itself but just parents having their tablets for the little kids and putting the volume on loud until the food came. That was...

I just want to tell you how I felt”… then she left. I came with my son that day- We did pay full price- Im not upset about the food- accident happened- But I didnot like the way the manager solve the problem- she had no right to talk loud voice to me- first she ahould say Im sorry for what happened… now she put me into the embarassing situation when Im out with my son- I don’t like negative service that happened to us- ruin...
Read moreI visited Sweet Pho You recently and witnessed a troubling incident that needs urgent attention from the owners or managers. A child was accidentally bumped into by a waiter carrying multiple large bowls of extremely hot broth. The child suffered burns and had to be taken to the hospital, and the situation could have easily resulted in serious injury to the waiter as well.
The restaurant welcomes families, but the current practice of having waiters carry such hot and heavy items poses a serious safety risk. To prevent such dangerous situations in the future, I strongly urge the restaurant to implement food trolleys or similar solutions to ensure both staff and guests remain safe. It’s essential for the safety and well-being of everyone that necessary precautions are taken to avoid such incidents. I don't think I would come back until this is done. Unlike other restaurants or cuisines, the soups are the main attraction at this place and making people carry such large bowls is unacceptably...
