Wendy's — Restaurant in Mississauga

I’m actually giving this location a NO STAR. This is a prime location situated by a highway. They share a restaurant with Tim Hortons. One of the busiest coffee shops! We had come for lunch today (Sunday August 6-23). It was pretty busy inside. It was of course lunch time, approx 1:30pm. We find a booth, and clean it ourselves and sit our four hungry children down. We just finished at a park for the past three hours. We were hungry, wanted to wash our hands and use the bathroom. We get everyone seated and I proceed to find a bathroom. I can’t see a visible sign, however I see a door that’s all blocked off like a crime scene, and I ask the young lady working where the bathrooms are. She tells me they are closed for 20-30 minutes for cleaning. What??? First off, this is prime lunch time. Secondly, Tim Hortons is a coffee shop, located by the highway, where people frequent for a bathroom. I asked if there were any other bathrooms and I was told “NO”! I was so mad, I packed the kids up and we left. How in the hell is there not a bathroom available at a busy location during peak hours? We drove out of our way to come here. I had to drive back to my house to pee and clean my children up before heading back out to McDonalds. Completely unacceptable. Will not visit this location again. Be warned. The breakfast sandwich was the best one I had from any fast-food restaurant! The BELT had fresh ingredients, crispy bacon, and the best breakfast sandwich bun. My love for the bun cannot be understated. This tasty concoction of brioche and an English muffin the size of a burger bun was super delicious yet light. Regarding the service, the person that took my order was lovely, and although she had entered the wrong coffee for my order, she fixed my coffee for no extra charge! It was late in the afternoon and I really needed a quick bite to eat. Wendy's drive thru to the rescue. I have been here many times over the years. But I have been eating fast food / burgers less and less in recent years. It is in the same mall as Starbucks and Watan Kebob.

The drive thru service has never disappointed me. It has been cordial and efficient. The food is typical fast food, not the best but not the worst either.

I have been happy with the food and it is hard to beat their convenience in a pinch.
