I am back again. Their perfect fusion of the classic HK/Cantonese flavours in their dishes hit a home run every time my friends. Their portions are very generous as well. It is no wonder why they are very popular and they continue to be so after so many years.

It is a family owned business. Let us all continue to support them. I came here for some Chinese BBQ at Luen Hung but they are closed on Tuesdays !!! Arrrgggghhhh!!!

But in times of darkness, we always find the light at the end of the tunnel … yeah … it sounds like a cliche 😂

I was happy to try this restaurant which had been a staple in this mall for ages now.

I tried the wonton noodle 🍜 soup and the classic Cantonese chow mein.

The wontons are 💯 % homemade and they are delicious 🤤. The noodles were perfectly cooked. It was very enjoyable.

The Cantonese Chow Mein hit the flavour home run outta the park. It tasted exactly like a classic and iconic dish that it is. Thumbs way up here.

I liked this place and was a frequent customer buying their ho-fan noodle dishes. Their noodles are quite good and very reasonably priced for a very satisfying portion.

Unfortunately, the last time I visited, I was greeted by a closed shutter and paper temporarily closed sign.

Tonight, I arrived and a young girl was working the front counter instead of the usual nice older lady who is always nice. I was rather bluntly informed they’re very busy and there would be a 25min wait.

That’s two strikes for two attempted visits. I don’t get here as often as I’d like these days. But I was always recognized and treated like a very welcome repeat customer. Clearly this younger staffer doesn’t have the same appreciation for the impact of a friendly greeting and smile. Especially before you’re going to drop a bombshell like a long wait.

ordered 3 party trays. Price is a little experience compared to the other Chinese place there. I usually order from the other Chinese place but ordered from here instead because the other Chinese place was closed that day. Order the young chow fied rice which is ok, also ordered chicken wings and it was also ok, and then ordered the beef brisket with vegetables. The worst was the beef brisket with vegetables because all you see if a lot of bok choy and alittle beef brisket. Wish I took a picture of it. I feel like this dish was a wipe off. When I ordered the beef brisket from the other chinese place, they gave a good amount of beef brisket. I will make sure to never order here again and just go to the other chinese place in the plaza.
