All right folks. This place is a bona fide grand slam here. I have returned many times and their consistency is spot on. I have come to learn that they have a large and loyal base of return customers. And I can see why now. This is because I am one of those customers. It is hard to find an excellent classic HK BBQ place in Mississauga serving authentic and honest food.

I returned to the mall today to pick up some lunch since I was in the area. When in Rome right?

The BBQ is quite good for the price. I also picked up some BBQ chicken thighs for dinner later on.

Happy Eats everyone :-) I decided to drop into this mall for the first time in over a decade really. But today, it was convenient for me as it was on the way back home for me because I took Cawthra North from Lakeshore Blvd.

As a Realtor, I had some viewings with my client in Lorne Park and Port Credit. I am even shocked to see how busy the real estate market is during the pandemic.

Anyways, I dropped into the mall / food court and it has been renovated and freshened up you could say. In the past, it was a bit dingy and dated.

But the amount of restaurants have dwindled if I am not mistaken. There is a Korean Sushi restaurant, a Filipino restaurant, a typical HK Chinese restaurant and then there is Chinese BBQ place.

I went for a classic BBQ Pork Rice combo. It came out to $9.00 after taxes and you get a soup as well.

I have admit that the portion of BBQ pork here is very generous. The BBQ pork pieces were well cooked, there were several dry pieces. But all in all, the flavours were all on point here. The sauce was rather excellent. It was a mix between a nice honey infused soy sauce and "Duck" sauce. It was tasty no doubt.

The veggies included tasted good, just the right amount of salt. All in all, I was not disappointed. This was my first visit. The service was quick and efficient.

This a bloop double into the gap in let centre field.

Hello foodies if you never had BBq pork and duck then its somthing you might want to try

This take out restaurant is located in the chinese plaza on dundas and Cawthra with the big arches with a very discrete and difficult entrance to get into the food court

Luen Hing BBQ specializes in only bbq meats and you will see that as soon as you get there as they have the ducks and pork parts hanging in the window . I opted to get there bbq pork ribs with rice and bbq pork with rice had to try both since they looks so good

Food 4/5 you really get your money worth with these guys portions are huge containers filled to the max and allot of meat very generous portions and all for $8.50 plus tax you cant go wrong for all that food... I enjoyed the bbq pork ribs a little more then just the regular bbq pork because they were fattier and seemed to have a thicker glaze on them with bit more flavor then the bbq pork that was bit dryer and less fat. Both dishes were good but not overly flavorful that would leave me craving more or eating this again ...if i was in the plaza i would eat it again but would not drive out just for this...if it had a thicker sweater bbq glaze it would taste much better, but still good never the less. They both had the same taste not a huge difrence other then what i described so go with either or to try

Service 3/5 the service was fast but i would say could be friendlier and better customer service but acceptable for...

I am a loyal customer of this place, however my New Year's and Saturday's experience was a bit disappointing. For New Year's, I ordered 2 lbs of pork roast an d 2 lbs of bbq pork. I ended up with 3 lbs of bbq and only 1 lb of roasted pork. This is a disappointment which I addressed and the lady was apologetic, however coming from far away is a problem to correct what has already been served. On Saturday May the 29th 2021, I ordered roast pork and duck on rice. The rice was so overcooked that it almost seemed like leftover from the day before, I might as well make a congee out of it. Having said that, I have been to this place since day one and hope that the owner acknowledges my constructive criticism without prejudice and no offense, I still love how consistent they are. I am glad this was clarified and look forward to visiting your establishment in the future as usual.
