I would never recommend this to my friends, family and acquaintances. This was by far the worst all-you-can-eat sushi experience I have had yet. And I have had many.
The food quality is good. Not exceptional, but still satisfying given it's a "buffet" type restaurant.
What was most dissatisfying was that we had to wait at least 25 minutes every time we ordered food.
Not only was the wait long, but some of the food we ordered either came much, much later, or never at all. We even ordered 5 Cokes and miso soups and never got them. We did have the privilege to see the waiter pour himself a glass of Coke twice and have a sip, 10 meters away from us.
There must be a big lack of communication between the servers and the kitchen as even the manager came to tell (or rather yell at) us that it is not their fault that the orders didn't print from the kitchen or vice-versa. Removing the responsibility and their inability to meet the demands of customers from themselves.
We were asked to make a final order from the waiter/manager before some of us barely ate enough because they were closing before reopening for dinner. And he was very rude, and did not seem to try to help/serve us. We got there at 1pm and they were closing at 3pm.
After the last call, we were then asked to go and pay downstairs and we were offered seats downstairs to get our ice cream (which the waiter refused to take the order for during the last call). We accepted, went downstairs, paid, and then we realized there were no free seats downstairs and we were forced to leave.
The waiter we initially got neither spoke French or English and could barely understand our questions, and proceeded to just tell us to write our orders on the designated papers.
We do not eat exaggerated amounts of food, and we did not bother anyone part of the clientele or staff, and yet found ourselves very disappointed of the service we got and the amount of food we had. It felt like they just didn't want to serve us.
Reply to reply: No, unfortunately we all arrived at 1pm. The reason why we stayed until then was simply because our orders were never served and we were expecting to at least get our stomachs half-full, and waited and waited. We didn't want to or expect to stay for so long actually. We did because we felt like we deserved to at least get the...
Read morePLEASE READ AS MUCH REFERENCES AS YOU CAN BEFORE GOING FOR DINNER BUFFET!* Guys! To be honest the food was super but for sure you are actually expecting a normal service... trust me, they were so rude.
They pressed us to order, the orders did not come complete and it is worth mentioning that when we noticed that we had food that we did not order ... the manager asked us what we ordered? Then I showed him the photos of the orders (thank God I took them in case) and the manager himself made us look in the menu to know that we had ordered ... of course it was very annoying and that's not all, when We paid the very rude waiter (kind of old) said that we had asked for the bill very late by saying “you should have done it with anticipation” he throw the candies and finally a very disrespectful manners throw us the receipt .... clearly I get angry. DO NOT VISIT THAT PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE READY FOR A BAD SERVICE.
Read moreprobably one of the worst service I've ever had. the food isn't good either so its not even worth putting up with the service. the only plus was that taylor swift was playing the whole time during my meal with no breaks so at least whoever on aux knew what was going on. i dont even know how to describe the service. our first rude encounter was when i wanted my main meal plate replaced and asked the man who seemed to be the manager. i believed at first that the manager misunderstood me and wasn't planning on replacing my plate but only to clear it so i asked a different waiter after the manager left. the manager saw me asking and said "its not nice to ask someone different" very aggressively to me. next, there was a table next to us whom the waiter lectured very rudely about not wasting food. later with the same table, the waiter was notifying about last calls for orders. the customer misheard the waiter which the waiter corrected the customer very harshly. Our last bad experience occured while I was paying. I was not planning on tipping due to how harsh the service was. the waitress saw on the receipt that i didnt tip and had the audacity to tell me "the tip wasn't included". just to let you guys know, tipping is not mandatory especially when service is terrible!! so to make things less awkward, i told her that id leave cash tip on the table. she didn't seem to understand so she told the manager. when the manager came over, he told us that there is a service fee(as if it is mandatory?) but cut himself off when he realized there was cash on the table and started apologizing. on top of that, both me and the person I was eating with were younger by 20 years than all the other tables and obviously college students as we were wearing hoodies with our university name. they still felt the need to criticize us for not tipping even after we paid $92 for 2 people to eat. highly do...
