Such a lovely second-hand store. Upon entering you can put your bag and coat for coat check and they had small snacks like popcorn and apple cider that were complementary.
On the main floor is a combination of jackets, vests, cowboy boots (like so many cowboy boots), purses, jewelry and they have a snack bar where you can order wraps, samosas, baklava, coffee, cookies etc. They have a small seating area towards the back where you can enjoy your snacks while taking a break between shopping.
Upstairs there's a men's section, varies from plaid shirts/button ups, shoes, hat's,/caps, jackets, sweaters, and bottoms. There's a small nook by the window for eating and across the floor there's a couple couches and sofas to relax, play some games and eat.
Towards the left, there's another room where they have a variety of old records/vinyls, frames, sewing odds and ends, plates and prints/posters.
If you keep going further in, that's the main room for women's clothing. Varies from scarves, hat's, shoes, bottoms, shorts, overalls, jackets, dresses, swimwear, lingerie and such.
They have 2 changing rooms, one on the first floor and another on the 2nd floor. A lot of items are priced anywhere from 50 cents to $25. They take cash and card but charge 25 cents for a paper bag, which ripped on me after walking to the metro, best to bring your own reusable bag.
There's a cash desk on the 1st floor which is where you pay for all your things. Oh and they also had a second division on the first floor which I was told had books and other furniture.
I would definitely visit again and bring my own bag :) I could spend...
Read moreThe first few times I dropped by, i had good impressions of the store. The vibe and decorations are very cozy. Café and thrift shop's combination made me feel like a great spot to hangout as well.
However, I went with my friend to sell our clothes today, and most of the clothes were bought with $100+ or even $200+ . They were in pretty good conditions, and we did bring a huge pack of them. The price they gave us seems like a random number that they made up. What they offered us did not even priced by the style, brand or anything. We only get a total of $75 store credit, and we were quite disappointed with this offer.
Although we tried to tell ourselves that it is better than nothing, we saw that the price for the outfits in store were so so much higher than what we have sold to them. This feels like a deception to us, and I would rather donate everything we had instead of letting them making such a huge profit out of it. I do understand the intention behind the whole thrift shop is great, but the profit they make from it is incredibly disgusting.
None of the clothes were examined one by one to give a price, and they did not do anything with these old clothes before they put them on shelf. I do not think I will even recommend my friends to come...
