Adamo Pizza — Restaurant in Montreal

Terrible service and soooo much attitude! Wow. Hipster scum. Et puis personne parle français en plus. Super comme service, merci! J’ai déjà commandé de la pizza pour emporter ici une bonne vingtaine de fois, et tout ça m’a toujours un peu dérangé malgré la pizza correcte (et proche de chez nous) mais pas assez pour écrire une critique. But today, ENOUGH HIPSTER RIDICULOUSNESS.

So you order on the phone, you drop by to pick up your effin pizza, and lo and behold there are 30 people lined up to buy pizza by the slice. Which is fine! I love it when local businesses do well.

Except... I pop up to the counter to say that I’m here to pick up, as one would assume it doesn’t. make. sense. to wait behind 30 people to pick up a pizza one has already ordered and just wants to pay for... and eat. The guy looks ready to let me pay, until another fellow who’s been waiting in line for 900 hours says « hey, I’ve been waiting to pay for a pizza I ordered by phone too ». So he wants to pay. Understandably. But they won’t let him pay! And they keep letting pretty girls by the slice pay... Nice.

So he leaves, politely, saying he ain’t bothering. And so do I, saying that I ain’t coming here again and that they could at least not have been total dicks. To which the dude behind the counter says « well it doesn’t seem to be a problem for the business », and points to the line-up. Classy. Thanks.

Not going...

I decided to take my in-laws here for a slice on a Thursday evening. There were no pizzas ready but you could see which flavours were available by the slice. My mother in law asked for a mozzarella slice, to which the server just said ‘we are not going to make that’. I asked for a Calabrese slice to which he responded with the same thing. Another worker had a word with him about his responses to us and after that he decided they could do the mozzarella after all. Ordered 2x pepperoni slices and 1x mozzarella and were told it would be about 10 minutes wait. While we were waiting around 5 people were served and given their pizza slices before ours that were the same flavours as what we had ordered. 15 minutes went by and my father in law went to see what was going on, it turned out they had forgotten about our order and said we would have to wait a further 10 minutes for them to make more pepperoni as they had given away all the other slices to customers that came in after us.

Extremely rude and abrupt service. The inside of the pizza shop is an extremely thick heat and also the pizza was average at best. Highly overrated and would not...

Calabrese Slice + Margherita Slice 🍕 What more can you ask for, honestly I'm mad it took me over 7 years after finding out about this gem to finally make the trip and go. . Well I shouldn't say that it took me 7 years to finally try @pizzaadamo more like everytime I was in the area and ready to get a slice it was closed 😅. At the time they had weird hours that would just never seem to line up for when I actually wanted to grab a slice but I'm glad I finally went! . Great dough, like really yummy, nice and crispy undercarriage which is what u want from a good slice of pizza. The texture of the cheese is perfect and I have to say the calabrese was great. First time I have a pizza like that and it was fantastic! The Margherita was also great, what you'd expect from a good old fashioned reliable slice, but you know you got to try it because to me, that's always a good base line to start off! . I'll definitely becoming back again soon this weekend hopefully when I'm in the area again and guys if you don't know, now you know! Go check...
